You know the Boy Blunder loves to pick up those fantasy football picks. I'm betting Leftwich doesn't come back to the Jags, ends up on the open market--& the skins trade/sign him. Hey, don't they have 1 or 2 picks left for 2008 that they haven't traded?

If Campbell looks terrible, I could definitely see it. Leftwich is from the DC area, isn't he?

They might want to see Campbell through, though... Unless Gibbs insists on another vet. ;)

Oh I have no doubt he'll throw an insane contract at Leftwich. I can also see him taking Moss as well. Seriously.

I think it was ESPN running a story recently that said Gibbs was already looking at their salary cap room for next season. Please let it be so. I want to see them spend wads more $$$ next season on FAs--makes it more fun to laugh at them in the regular season.

And people should please remember this next offseason when the stinks are spending insanely & we're not. YOU DON'T BUILD TEAMS THRU FA!!! YOU BUILD THRU THE DRAFT!!!

Yep, those were my thoughts exactly. They probably are gonna stick with Campbell for a year or two to see if he is any good.

There's no way Gibbs doesn't bring in a vet. He doesn't groom young QBs. They threw in Campbell because they've got to give a bone to the fans stupid enough to buy tickets. I doubt those fans will be patient for long as Campbell gets killed this season (no running game, the kid really doesn't have a chance).

Besides, Little Danny & Ol' Joe will need some new names to dangle in front of ticket buyers for next season. Face it: the bloom has worn off Joe, so he's no longer a reason to buy tickets. Last year's hope has long since imploded for this season; the fans are demanding that this year's model get blown up. There goes that reason to buy tickets. Campbell, even if he shows promise, isn't going to be enough to encourage people to buy tickets. And neither one of them can help themselves. They're addicted. They have to sign every big FA name on the market.

I doubt it......

It wouldn't worry me even if he did end up playing for them.

I liked Leftwich coming out of college but I have issue with his play over the years. Leftwich mechanics have not gotten better. If you watch him he does this wind up on his throw and drops it way to low.

Romo mechanics have gotten better Leftwhich has not which is why I think Leftwich maybe the next Bledsoe not because of slow reading more his mechanics in his throws.

Maybe that is the biggest issue with running a young qb out there to early in the season. I am sure making them wait until at least mid season as they work on mechanics help. Some guys need a full year most likely why the Bengals sat Palmer the full year.

If Leftwich goes to Washington, Jim Johnson will be licking his chops, and Blitzing him every chance he can.
