First of all, this is not to trash Bledsoe, I think he's a good QB when he has protection. But you never know what can happen from now until the end of the season.

I know Favre said no to playing out of Green Bay, but a lot of other proud vets have said the same thing. If Montana can play out of a 49ers uniform and Emmitt out of a Cowboys uniform, anything is possible. Parcells is NOT going to play any rookies at the position, and probably not going to touch Henson either. He wants to win now. He likes veteran QBs, and even though Favre has gone downhill, can you imagine what he could do in our running happy, time of possession offense? Favre would be a hell of a lot better than Bledsoe too if this oline breaks down again next year.

I read somewhere that Favre's INT % is pretty damn high.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I don't know why this is hard to believe. Favre is obviously out of Green Bay. Parcells doesn't like young QBs. He may be the best guy available.

Favre would retire before he donned a different uniform.

The Bledsoe Project????

You guys are really going overboard. I've seen games when Troy Aikman looked like he didn't belong in the NFL, games when he threw victory away, games when he wasn't protected and had that sour puss look on his face the entire game...guys have bad games, even bad runs.

Bledsoe was ranked #1 or #2 in the NFC after 11 games. Now, after 1 bad game, you guys think he must be replaced? JJ and Barber haven't had a running game where they really made a difference in a while...why don't we bring in another RB? Witten didn't do much yesterday and is not a very good blocker...why don't we draft the big TE out of USC this year?

11 games...Bledsoe ranked as the #2 QB at worst and is responsible for much of our success this year. No, he isn't mobile, but we knew that already.

I just don't get this type of thinking.

All the Drew Henson-hype is mystifying too.

Uhh.... one bad game? You may want to pop in those VHS tapes from the last few weeks.

15 of 39, 146 yards, 38.5%, 1 TD, 2 INT, 36.9 Rating
29 of 44, 232 yards, 65.9%, 2 TD, 2 INT, 75.2 Rating
12 of 23, 110 yards, 52.2%, 0 TD, 0 INT, 65.5 Rating
13 of 24, 136 yards, 54.2%, 1 TD, 2 INT, 50.0 Rating

Now would be a good time to realize he has been playing like crap for more than a month now.

Hey, I know the offensive line stinks, and I also know he looked much better in the beginning of the year. But a few injuries and defenses figuring us out, and he looks like the same Bledsoe who has been dropped by two teams.

I know you would give anything to have been wrong about an inevitable Bledsoe collapse and instead watched a Cowboys victory season, but it must feel like redemption seeing him fall apart now. :D

I still wonder what it would be like if Flozell hadn't gone down.

His loss has hurt quite a bit. But we DO need more bodies in there. A porous Oakland D had like SEVEN sacks against us, with Flo in there?

Favre hasn't played better. He has 21 INTs this season. Bring him in behind this O-Line and his results won't be better. Fix the O-Line and you fix a lot of the problems on offense. I am not a big Bledsoe fan wasn't sure what to expect from him. I can tell you that in my opinion that he isn't playing that great, but most of that is because the offensive line is horrible. Just horrible. The whole offensive unit is playing poorly.

Thats kind of a funny statement. "I know the offensive line stinks and I also know that he looked much better at the beginning of the year" Uhh yeah, he looked better when the O line didnt stink. Go figure.
I think every one knew from the begining ,Bledsoe needs a real good O line.

You have no idea (well yes you do... like all Cowboys fans do) how badly I wanted to see them win that game.

Yes, of course Adams would make the line better! BUT the fact is with Bledsoe you need to have close to the very best line in the NFL for him to succeed and I just don't think that's realistic. He has no ability to create any extra time for himself and that's a killer.

Every QB would love a damn good oline. Aikman had one and is going to the Hall of Fame. Like Mikey says above, ya just feel like you need one of the best olines in the league to get production out of Bledsoe and in today's parity driven league where no one really has depth and is always an injury away from a potential collapse, I don't think it's safe to depend on a QB like that. Other players make due with even worse problems.

No....I love Farve, but we need to develope a young stud for the future of our franchise.

Bledsoe is our old stud.

Sorry, but 75 is not a bad game, especially against one of the best teams. This was one of his best performances when rating is scaled by quality of opponent. Look at the numbers for KC yesterday when they best Denver. 2 TDs 2 INT. Bledsoe had one bad INT or his rating would have been 90+.

Despite playing average for 6 games, Bledsoe is #3 in yards in the NFC, #4 in TDs in the NFC, and #5 in Rating in the NFC (2 points behind #2, where #1 will not be eligible for long (Bulger)).
