Agreed, have not heard his name the first 2 games.
It's like he's invisible.
I thought he had break out potential this year.

He (Ridgeway) is a rookie with the size, strength and determination to become good or better. It takes time. The veteran stiffs we decided to keep, what have they done? Zero! Nada! Zip! I would take the rookie with size, strength and determination over any veteran stiff who has been around for several years but done nothing. Huge mistake. Just wait and see.

But he didn’t have much for technique and wasn’t disciplined enough to complete assignments

I'd have to go back and check, but I think he's playing the 3-tech spot a lot on run downs and getting replaced by Tank and even Sam Williams at the spot some on passing downs. Our stronger run defense up the middle is partially due to him. But we could use better pass rushing from all of our inside guys.

However, unless your name is Aaron Donald, you're generally going to produce around 5 sacks a year as a DT. That's just a handful of plays.

I have not been watching tape on the guy, but he’s pushed the pocket a bit a few times at the very least from what I’ve seen. He’s played 50 snaps.

Odighizuwa has played 73 snaps and doesn’t have a sack either. Let’s pretend that it’s because Micah is so fast to the QB that our DTs don’t have time to get there.

You haven't heard much from him since his rookie year. For some reason the hype machine has people thinking otherwise. Bohanna winning the starting job is not that surprising.

I think Gallimore is more of a niche contributor than an every down player. He is very explosive, but also a very linear athlete. His change of direction is bottom tier. His tackle radius isnt good either.

I think he is a good match up player who will do well against OG/OC's that cant hand his burst and power off the snap. But I don't think he is a guy that is going to show up consistently either

Gallimore was the Next Big Thing last year in camp. Didn't even get hype in camp this year. Only 38% snaps.
