What’s your dream scenario for this draft?

1st - Surtain
2nd - J. Ossai
3a - a FS (A. Washington, Molden, Cisco)
3b - M. Wilson or T. Shelvin
4a - K. Green
4b - B. Christianson
5a/5b - double up at LB

1) Surtain II
2) Moehrig

This is my dream scenario. One can dream lol. Obviously Moehrig is a 1st round grade but we said the same about Xavier McKinney who didn't go till pick 36. Sometimes the safety position is just overlooked or undervalued by the entire NFL.

Surtain, Moehrig/Holland, McNeil

Get those three with the first three picks and we've made a huge impact on this defense.

Great point about McKinney

Barring a trade back where we move down and add a second and still get Barmore or Horn it would be Patrick Surtain II at 10. We've failed to replace Awuzie and our divisional opponents have added some pretty good WRs. Surtain is ranked 5th with a pro bowl talent grade.

In the second I would like to get Levi Onwuzurike at 44. He's one of only two DTs with a starting grade and would upgrade our run defense and interior pass rush. Our DL really got pushed around last year. I liked what Jeremiah said about him "Onwuzurike is a slightly undersized defensive tackle who was highly destructive in every Washington game I studied." NFL.com has his comp as Sheldon Richardson. Onwuzurike is ranked 40th.

Trade back twice in the first round and get:

Collins, Horn, McNeil and Creed Humphrey in rounds one and 2.

Otherwise take an OT in round one and Creed Humphrey in round 2 and go defense the rest of the way.

Trade back to 20, with the Bears, who are desperate for a QB, get either their 1st next year, or their 2nd this year. If it's their 2nd:
1- 20- Jaelan Phillips, DE
2- 44- Tyson Campbell, CB
2- 52- Alim Mcneil, DT

Except for Tank, we have no proven pass rushers. Since Gregory hasn't proven he can play a full season, it's a greater need than corner, IMHO.

Trade down get an extra 2nd.

Get Horn in the 1st.

Get Moehrig in the 2nd.

Get McNeill with the second 2nd.

Party.

Or..............

Get JOK or Collins in the first.

Get Campbell in the 2nd.

McNeill with the second 2nd.

Party again. Just as not as hard as the first scenario.

Last year we landed CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs in the first 2 rounds, which 99.99% of people didn’t predict - what 2 players would be a dream come true in the first 2 rounds of this draft?

Trading down to around 20 and taking DT Christian Barmore and receiving a second-round pick. Well, since I'm dreaming, receiving a second-, third- and fourth-round pick.

Then, getting Farley in the second because of his surgery and him going on to have a very healthy and productive career. (There are several other corners I would be happy with in the second, though, Greg Newsome, Tyson Campbell, Greg Stokes ...).

Add McNeill and I'm pretty happy with this draft even if I don't get anyone else I want.

Went from Farley to 10 to Farley at 44.

1st Surtain or Pitts or Horn
2nd Farley or Moehrig
3rd Alim McNeill and Baron Browning
4th Ben Cleveland and Anthony Schwartz
5th Khyiris Tonga
6th Bobby Brown and Tay Gowan
7th Pro Wells

Scenario 1:

1-10) Kyle Pitts TE Florida
2-44) Levi Onwuzurike DT Washington
3-75) Paulson Adebo CB Stanford
3-99) Cameron McGrone LB Michigan
4-138) Jamar Johnson S Indiana

Onwuzurike is very disruptive and that is what a 3-tech needs to be in Quinn’s defense. He’s a guy that can beat a guard one-on-one and the way this scheme is set up, you need that for the defense to really take off. He’s finally the interior rusher Dallas has been lacking.

Scenario 2:

Here is a trade back that I’d love if it could happen. Trade back from 10 to 16 with the cardinals for their pick at 16 and their second round pick at #49.

1-16) Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB ND
2-44) Levi Onwuzurike DT Washington
2-49) Richie Grant FS UCF
3-75) Paulson Adebo CB Stanford
3-99) Carlos Basham DL Wake Forest
4-138) Hamilcar Rashed LEO Oregon State

That one of the top quarterbacks realizes his choice is between a backwater and the league's #` laughingstock and demands a trade. The Cowboys oblige.

Dream scenario went out the window when they went from two wins to six.

Yup....Said it months ago....Instead of sinking 160 million into that cripple QB we have....should have made the move to get to 1/2.....while it was relatively cheap. Wilson blows up his pro day.....Now your going to sit back for the next 15 years and wonder what could have been.

Taking the fastest of the elite corners 6'0 plus.
