Bradlee Anae and Luke Gifford.

Bradlee Anae has looked good in very limited snaps. Is he a poor practice player? Was he on the active roster vs NE?

Luke Gifford has looked good in the preseason. Can he stay healthy? Would he be an upgrade over LVE?

Gifford is a good ST player. He rarely ever plays on defensive. Has like 4 snaps this year. Dont let preseason games fool you on a players potential.

Anae is buried. He may have some opportunities in 2022 with Armstrong a FA and Lawrence a potential cap casualtie. He has at least gotten on there field, which he couldn't do last year

I don't think Anae will be on this roster in a couple of weeks, when some of the injured players return. Remember, they tried to trade him in camp.

Still waiting to see everyone. Hoping to see at least 1 more player on the Defense show up and rock it. Maybe a DT.

Gholston and Mukuamu for me.

I think Gholston may just be a jack of all trades, master of none type of DL but that's fine.
I liked Mukuamu predraft and was surprised he fell that far. Think he could develop into a NFL safety with time.

I mean Joseph is an obvious one.

You could be right. Kamara has gotten more ST snaps, and thats likely what it will come down too. Kamara has played 41% of ST snaps and Anae 17%. Anae has only played 1 ST snap since week 1.

I think Golston could be key in moving on from Lawrence. You edge rushers will likely be Gregory and Parsons, but Golston might add that traditional LDE element

to me its not them two, its Gallimore (would love to see him back and see what he can do in this aggressive defense) and Gholston.

Linebacker Coxx. I think he could be great. And defensive tackle not sure his name

Kamara could be gone as well due to the numbers. Interesting to see who they keep a Kamara or a Malik Turner?

NO those are spares jags some solid very low contributors that can be replaced easily ,,

sorry

Cox, Galimore and Anae. Nothing Hill has shown indicates that he will ever get it together. He kind of reminds me of the guys who have tons of natural talent but literally have no desire to play football.

I think you gotta include Osa in there....yeah, he has been surprisingly good for a rookie, but he will be even better and better with more experience. And be outstanding. His potential is unlimited. And Gholston/Cox would be the second....both really.
And left off Steele, who we are finally seeing some ability and wonder if he will continue to get better.

What makes it great to be a fan now is also having Gallimore, Joseph, Mukuamu, Wright, etc. on the team with great expectations from most of them. Young defense in the making.

Gholston and Cox of the guys who have seen limited playing time.....perhaps Gallimore as well.

I would say safety Coyle on the PS and Kamara. I don’t think Kamara has been playing football long and look where he is already. Not sure though.

Runner up would be DT Faoliu.
