Philly gets macklin back next year too. Smh it's going to get worse. Foles will only get better.

Maclin is a free agent. So is Cooper. They may resign them, or may not. Even if they sign Maclin, the guy's great, but he's been injured a lot, and now he's a WR coming off an ACL. That's tough.

The healthiest team beat one of the more injured teams in the league by two points.

Everyone understand the agenda.

But the eagles aren't that much better than "your" Cowboys.

It's a fact that your going to have to deal with.
How True!

Kelly did OK this year, you have to give him that...but, those of you that say he can't do better next year because the league will catch on to him sound like you have some sour grapes...I think if Kelly can continue to progress, then he will be a good NFL coach...but, one season of an offense under a new QB (Foles) where they went to the playoffs reeks of a situation they had in Washington just two years ago....now, I see Kelly not falling into the Commander pitfalls, at least not as severely, but as much as I hate to give credit to anyone in the NFCE, you have to give Kelly credit for what he did this year...I do hope that he falls on his face next season like the Commanders did this year with RG3-13, but I don't see it happening

Chip>>>Jason. Who really believes different?????

That ain't saying much. The NFC East sucked this year including the Cowboys. Philly would not have made the playoffs in any other division. Chip outcoached Garrett but who didn't? No NFC East coach should be crowned for this season. And who knows if their arrow is really pointing up? Every season is different. In our zeal to criticize the Cowboys (deserved) we often overrate the performance of other teams and coaches.

Yeah his total disregard for TOP really paid off huh?

That is why his system will not work in the NFL. Keep it close and you face a gassed D down the stretch.

Great coach my rear end.

I don't know who said he is a great HC, you cannot say that after one year but he at least started on the right path (unlike Garrett), point of the thread is Chip is much better than Garrett (he has got the results to prove it) not that he is great but I know your answer by now, not worth discussing.

LOL he had all kinds of good luck, his team had almost no injuries, bad calls giving them games and it still took 3 TOs in a game we gave them for them to win the division. We outplayed them in both games. We OUT COACHED them.

But whatever it is not worth discussing...lol.

Garrett always gets outcoached. Its his forte and calling card. Just like he got outcoached in the Lions and Green Bay game. There was no reason for us to lose those two games but Garrett lost it for us by poor indecision and planning during crunch time. Why am I bringing this up? Well if we didn't have Garrett as coach we would have already taken the division. Lets face it Garrett has brought mediocrity to this team and despite our talent, were going to be stuck being 8-8 for a very long time if his still coaching.

LOL just what did he do in the Lions game? We were balanced on offense.

Oh I get it he made Smith hold and made the defense give up 623 yards.

But just keep repeating it obviously the sheep keep buying it.

No sour grapes, other than my personal fatigue with the obsession the NFL Channel and other talking heads have had with the Philly offense. We played them twice and they only averaged 13.5 points a game against our record-setting bad defense. Foles gets visibly shaken when the pass rush hits him or hurries him. Monte Kiffin knows how to defend that offense, and other teams will copy it, and maybe already have.

What exactly is a rebuild?

There's no need to act like Kelly came in to a jaguar type roster and turned it around.

No not at all. He came into a franchise that had given up, and breathed life into them. his biggest contribution was his ability to coach offense and turn the quarterback position over to a kid, successfully. That's the most difficult job teams have transitioning from one quarterback to another. Now they can build from there. Everybody knows they already had 2 Pro bowl caliber players already on that team.

No what matters is looking at things objectively and not through myth driven, agenda filled, witch hunting eyes.

Gonna be fun around here if we have another solid draft and get good health for a change...very fun, and probably with a bunch a back peddling and bandwagon jumping.

Well Andy Reid didn't win 10 games this year, he won 11. And it wasn't win a team that went 4-12 last year but a team that went 2-14. So stating what his track record "suggests" would never have happened in a year when it actually did is kind of pointless. Isn't it?
I don't know what you're talking about, or the point you're trying to make?

Eagles won, Cowboys didn't, that's the only important thing, even you idol Garrett would tell you that.
And by the way if we were to have a great season next year with Garrett coaching I'd be more than happy, I am a Cowboys fan first and formost, so if that happens, you are tight, it would be very fun.
Saying that, It probably won't happen because our HC sucks.

Chips system has been exposed. Dallas showed the NFL how to limit the Eagles on offense. Chip has to modify his offense now. His college system will not work as effectively next year if he doesn't make any changes. Only way to play the Eagles is man to man and decent rush and NICK FOLDS.
The offense Chip Kelly had in college is not what he runs in the pros. He runs formations from it out of the West Coast offense. I'm surprised how many people think he runs a college offense.

No he doesn't but a certain segment of the fan base does.

The fact you're going to have to deal with is the Eagles made the playoffs and we didn't. We have had three straight chances to do what the Eagles did this year and blew all three.

You can rationalize it any way you want, make any excuse for this pathetic coach and GM that you want, but those are facts that won't change.

You call the Eagles the healthiest team in the league. And why is that? Because Chip Kelly installed a cutting edge new training regimen that is drawing rave reviews from his players and gaining the attention of the rest of the NFL. You make your own luck in life.

Oh, well thank God we cleared that up.

False.
I cleared it up days ago for you. I've disproved just about every point you've tried to make, and corrected all your false statements.
I get it. You think keeping Garrett and not changing anything is the right thing to do because another coach just couldn't be better. And you think Andy Reid is the greatest coach in the NFL although some Kansas City fans might question that at this time. I wish Andy was still in Philadelphia screwing that team up, but he's not. That's our loss.

Are you looking at a mirror bro? Lol
Just having fun buddy, I know you think Garrett is a heck of a HC, you know I think Garrett isn't a good HC but know this, I hope you are right because if you are we are probably having a good season next year and at the end of the day that's all I want.
