"What I like is that we can change it up more this year," [Romo] said. "I think everyone has the ability to run every route. We'll be more dangerous because we'll be able to mix people all around. If T.O. was the X (receiver) then he was the X. And he was on the left side by himself last year. But that will change a little more now. He'll be in the slot and other places a little more now."

This sort of thing gets me fired up.....

R.I.P. predictability.
What Romo is saying does sound exciting, but it also opens a can of worms for WRs to run wrong routes. T.O. could even run the right routes sometimes last years and that offense was supposed to be more simple than this??:(

I think our current wide receivers are more intelligent than Anthony Bryant. I believe Romo's referring to more flexibility in wide receiver's ability to change their routes after the defense gives them a certain look according to the playbook.

You mean Antonio, I think.

I think Glenn can be trusted to run correct routes, but I guess we'll see with T.O.

Yeah, I meant Antonio, thanks. That two brainfarts in just a few minutes time. That's it. No more MGD after midnight for awhile for me. :(

While I don't have much faith in Owens' on-the-field celebratory nature ( ), I'm confident in his ability to correctly run the correct routes. His production depends upon it.

You maybe correct, but I guess I was just going by the times Madden would point out how he would run the fly pattern too close to the sideline and get run outta bounds. But I guess that's more of a case where he ran the correct route, wrong. Hopefully Garrett will get these things worked out, hopefully T.O. will be willing to be coached by him.
