It’s worth repeating what a great drive and TD this was. Dak was awesome in this drive . 15 plays, 70 yds, the winning TD throw and left only 20 some odd seconds on the clock. No one here, except for 2 or 3 of us, expected a win on the road against a team with a top defense besides the Cowboys. A great way to end the game.

As I said in another thread. Best drive I have seen from the Cowboys in a while. Dak showed some mental toughness this game, where he usually goes into a shell. Hopefully its a sign of things to come and not just a one night stand. Time will tell.

I didn’t realize how long it’s been until you see it happen and what it felt like…it’s been too damn long to get a W like that.

That was a great final drive. I haven't seen that for some time. We moved the ball pretty well all game.

I give the Steelers D some credit for the turnovers and blocked FG. That's what they do to win games like this. Not this time.

I do applaud Dak for driving the Cowboys for the win but it should not have come down to that if he would have not turnover the ball in the red zone. My heart can’t take that. I guess he likes to keep the fans in the stands. I prefer blowouts by the Cowboys

That game should give the boys mojo confidence.
Great teams end games like that. All they had to overcome.

Yup, great drive
And a little luck with dowdle fumble & dak bobble

Luv to see gif of lupeke swing pass

He exploded, accelerated at the catch
Thoughr he would score...
He is trusted by coaches at key pounts
Had run for 1st down earlier
Tolbert running the route around the defender and having the awareness to get 2 yards deeper and not get tackled short was the key. His on field and situational awareness. Also taking so long McCarthy couldn't screw up the clock.

Yes, it was. They converted some 3rd downs in the drive and the 4th down conversion for the win. Outstanding to do that on the road.

The one that screwed up was the Steelers coach who took the timeout that let Tolbert come back in the game.

It was a great drive, but it certainly wasn't perfect. That fumble at the goal line could have bounced either way. If the Cowboys lost that fumble then I doubt we would be speaking high praise of Dowdle and crowning him RB1.

Dak's heroic save occurred because of the direction the ball bounced. Therefore, you have to include some rare good luck. On the other hand, wasn't some good luck long overdue?

The drive was especially exciting and even improbable when you consider that the Cowboys last offensive play before that drive was Dak's 2nd INT.

Dak satisfied our hopes instead of most fan's expectations.

It was a memorable drive in a memorable game. Is this now Dak's "signature" game? Too early in the season but it possibly sets up a "signature" game later this season while a loss would have made the term non-applicable.

Dowdle was the hero early in the drive. Later, on a 3rd and 1, Zeke did what he was brought back for.

We saw contributions from our younger players, Ferguson, Tolbert and Luepke, very encouraging.

Winning in this way is something young teams have to learn to do.

Thanks for sharing the winning TD clip from the back of the endzone, @Rockport . What an awesome winning, do-or-die final play! You're right, there were less than a handful of posters who actually believed before the game the Cowboys would win at Pittsburgh against the league's top scoring Steelers defense as shown on the Yahoo Sports Fantasy CZ League...

It was a great drive and a quality win against a top defensive unit. Haven't had one of those in a while. Defense rose to the occasion keeping us in it somehow following 3 turnovers on the road. Normally that would spell disaster against any team.
