Agreed. I was excited when Dallas beat the Commanders in 1989 and I'm not joking. I just think the OP is being somewhat cynical. There is a difference between watching a good game and watching a Cowboys game. They are not in the same ballpark to me because Cowboys games mean something. I think all the OP was saying was that he wished the Cowboys were relevant again. We all get frustrated sometimes.

I well aware of what the OP was saying and I hope he/she doesn't think I was coming at him/her in a negative way. It is difficult to watch a Cowboys game but I still watch. Some of the teams that I root for I have had since I was a little kid and they are downright awful.

No way im more excited watching another team.... not even close. I watched GB and LA Rams. But i just really had it on as background noise. Look at it every now and then or react to the announcers enthusiasm. Cowboys may suck right now, but my dedication never will. Its kinda impossible.
