Man....did we answer the bell or what?

We played four games that were just killers.....and we had a Thanksgiving game squeezed in there too.

We've beaten:
the Eagles
the Giants
the Commanders
and now, the Packers.

Tough, tough stretch of games. We now have 10 days to rest. I won't say that we'll have homefield. I don't see another game the Packers should lose. They have an easy schedule.

We still have Detroit (who ripped us last year and should be fighting for a playoff spot), Philly (who looked great vs the Pats), Carolina (a team we should crush), and Washington (you know they'll be inspired for us...and possibly will be looking at a playoff elimination game).

This game is a step in the right direction......but it's not over yet.

Deion made a good point a minute ago....they still need to find that killer instinct....or in his words...."kill a gnat with the sledgehammer"!!

I want to see them focus for an ENTIRE game.

Wonder if we use a similar defensive scheme vs. the Lions? I guess they will try to spread us out as well on defense.

I know some people will worry on how we played defense when Rodgers came in but first off, if we see the Pack again it will be Farve in there and our game plan was to stop him and we did a very good job of it and forced him from the game. We had pressure on him for most of the time and a number of hits.
As for Rodgers, I can't even count the number of times through the years that you see a backup come in and play well in a game and then he is forced to play more and as time goes on defenses game plan for him and a good number of them fail badly. The game plan we had awas not for Rodgers and his mobility was something we did not take in to account. But we won't see him again unless Favre is seriously hurt( I hope he is not) and if Rodger does play long term this season the pack probably doesnt make it to the championship or we have 5 game films or his strengths and weaknesses.

Those games should really help our BCS rankings.

Four weeks ago I saw the upcoming schedule: Eagles, Giants, Commanders, Packers. I figured I'd be happy if we went 2-2. Had you told me we'd go 4-0 I would have called you an homer. Damn this feels good.

It was a good game Biz but you are right. It's one game at a time and fortunately for a few more hours it is the Packers game and we can all relax.

If Randy Moss had stayed in Oakland... we would be going for the undefeated season.

Yeah but Welker needed to stay in South Florida. My God the Dolphins organization are idiots. What a year for them. I bet you they can't wait until the year 2007 is over.:laugh2: From the draft to this season.
