There are already a thousand articles blaming one call for the final result but reality is Dallas just TOOK that game.
Redball played with more cojones than Caldwell. Dallas picked up a 4th and 6 while Detroit shanked a 10 yard punt instead of taking a shot at 4th and 1 on the Cowboys side of the field. Detroit blitzed early then got scared with the lead and sent 4 repeatedly.
Stafford is a talented kid but the DLine finally got to him late and he fumbled TWICE on that final drive. He had 3 turnovers on the day and a couple more batted balls. Romo was simply more careful with the ball.
Dallas won by 4 and HAD the ball. 1 call didn't decide that. Dallas dominating the second half did. Detroit settled for field goals twice and did not score a TD after the 1st quarter. That is coaching adjustments and Dallas settling into the game. The running game got going and Romo got on track.
Bailey had a bad miss, Romo ate some questionable sacks but Dallas played with an urgency the entire second half. The better team won. Trying to take that from Dallas is just disrespectful enough to add fuel to the fire in training this week.
Now let's hope these players that were dinged or out are ready to get back to work and go next week.
Hopefully it is all hands on deck for GB in what should be a heavyweight slugfest between the best two QBs in football in 2014.
