If we want a Center for a few years what about Hardwick. Should be cheaper than Wells, who is looking for top 5 center money. I haven't heard about Hardwick and how much he is looking for.

Dallas go after free agent Nick Hardwick previously with San Diego. He possesses all of the qualities listed above. Hardwick is big, nasty, yet also has a great, unselfish team attitude. He consistently grades out annually in the top third of NFL centers. And at 30 years old, none of the top five centers in free agency is younger. Hardwick had one penalty all season and allowed zero sacks, two QB pressures, and seven hurries in 2011. These are all very high marks for a starting center. And apparently the veteran receives high praise in San Diego.

I'm all for bringing in Hardwich for a couple of years but there's been some talk by him about retiring, if he wants to play, I'd sign him, huge upgrade over Costa..or sign 27 year old Samson satele from oakland..they're in salary cap hell....Center has to be addressed in free agency I believe, then draft Decastro at 14 and have Arkin, Nagy and Kowalski battle it out for the other guard spot and backup center, the interior Oline needs to be fixed. then draft a tightend later in the draft to complete the offense

He's a great center and one that we liked coming out of college -- the talk about retiring though, coming into FA and talking like that. Something ain't right
