I don't know about you but this dude jumped out to me. He looked just as fast, or faster than Jaylon. I kept seeing 48 make play after play. I was very impressed and feel a lot better so far about this LB group.

Yeah he looked like a Cowboys linebacker from the early 2000's.

I think our linebackers will be able to stop the pass so much better this season.

Good signing. Been hearing good things about him in Camp reports. Glad to see it translate to the Game. He seems to fit our D scheme well with his size and speed.

Sneaky good signing. After last year it was apparent that it is dangerous to have any unit totally dependent on one player (e.g. Lee, Tyron Smith). Looks like the FO has done a good job thus far in their FA signings to mitigate against that dependence.

I think the entire lb core just like the WR are being very underrated by fans they all look young hungry and fast. Even Wilson for that matter. The defense was rallying to the ball and looked fast. It’s only preseason but all this negativity about the off season and draft if you look at practice and now preseason to this point is proving the detractors wrong.

I told Brad Sham during the broadcast that I thought this was the deepest group of Cowboys linebackers that I had seen in a while. Adding Joe Thomas gives me hope that if something were to happen to Sean Lee that this defense would not fall off the face of this Earth -- which is something I always worry about. His size and ability to cover ground is special, along with his ability to finish.

Our LB group will be ok even if Lee misses time and LVE is not an immediate impact player. This unit will be above average worst case scenario.

Yep. He had an awesome game. You can see why he was the first free agent the Cowboys signed. It looks like we're in much better hands if and when Sean Lee were to get hurt.

This is the best group of LB's we had in years.

And we needed this for years. I liked the Joe Thomas signing as soon as it happened. I knew Jaylon would be better. But to look as he did, even better than I thought. I loved the LVE pick, as we still needed LB's. I always liked Wilson once he got healthy, and think many fans underrate him.
I also liked the Covington pick. Not so much him, but that they picked another LB. But after reading about him, I like the pick.
They have a few others making noise in TC as well.
However, as we all know and say, Lee must remain healthy. But if h does miss a few series or so, I feel better now.

Agreed. Credit where credit is due.
