Heres a guy we could look at. Maybe in the 4th, hes a WR/PR out of Texas

He reminds me a little of Wes Welker or Matt Jones

He ran a 4.6 but he was running uphill w/ the flu in crocs

I can't believe nobody has thought of this by now. Excellent idea.

:laugh2: And why does he remind someone of Matt Jones? Is it because he is white? Because he definitely has better skills than Matt Jones.

:laugh2:I could run faster than a 4.6 wearing Timberland boots.

Video or it didn't happen.

Someone actually compared him to Matt Jones? What the hell..

Doubt he falls all the way to us in the 4th. We might be able to get him at our pick in the 3rd.

the key with shipley will be how fast he runs in the 40 at his proday in a few days. If he runs another 4.6 in forty, then I wouldnt touch him, too slow. Granted the 3 cone in and out of your breaks is another key issue too for your quickness as a slot wr.

I smell the sarcasm from here.... :laugh2:

I wouldn't take him before the 4th round...

Because people thought Matt Jones was really fast but it turns out he wasn't.

Jones ran a 4.38 at the Combine so he has legitimate long speed. He is a long-strider so he doesn't have that explosive burst or sharp cuts that some shorter players have.

Have we learned nothing from Wes Welker?!? :laugh2:

Actually, the fact that he'll be a 24 year old rookie bothers me more than his 40 time. If he was there in the 3rd or 4th, I'd think about it.

Shipley is a quick in and out his breaks slot receiver in the Wes Welker mold that alot of teams are looking for. He'll be drafted somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd round.
