What do you all think of signing Leigh Bodden? He would be a decent number #2 or #3 corner.

I'm not sure why he hasn't really gotten any looks from any other teams. He is a pretty darn good man to man CB, just struggles with zone a lot.

I too think he would be a good nickel/dime back.

We would have 4 CBs that can play man to man really well. I think most of us would like that. A lot of people complain on here that we don't play enough man to man anyways.

I actually like Bodden and think he's a bit underrated due to where he's had to play. I wouldn't mind having him at all.

I'd love to have him here. He's been on crappy teams and I think that has hurt him, but the guy can cover people. He'd be a nice fit here.

Cool, Yeah he'd definitely be better than our 4th or 5th corners. Could push Brown I think.

This is exactly why he wont be coming here.

He is better than a 4th or 5th corner but we are set at 1, 2 & 3 CB.

He is looking to become a starter somewhere, I guaranty it.

I would have rather had Drayton Florence, too bad the Bills picked him up last night.

Florence wants to be a starter.

I would love Leigh Bodden here. I live in Browns country, and he is a very good cover corner. Leave it to the Lions to trade for him, then force him to play zone. That is not his nitch. He would definately NOT be a 4th or 5th corner in Dallas. At 6-1, 195, 4.40, Bodden would compete for a starting position on the team. In 2007, his last season with the Browns, Bodden had 88 tackles, 6 ints., and a fumble recovery.

Bodden is a fast, physical corner who can cover any receiver in the NFL. The beauty of it is that since he was flat-out released by the Lions, the Cowboys could get him for a song. Doing what they do well, the administration could sign him for a one year, 2 million dollar deal, then lock him up long time if he shows he is a top corner.
