What about the playcalling by Parcells?

Okay, We are all ready to put the blame on Bledsoe, he can't move in the pocket, the offense line is not that good. To which all of that rings with some truth, but what about the play calling or lack of play calling that is being used by Parcell. Where is the shotgun to buy more time, what about speeding things up instead of letting the defense sit and wait and make all the changes to it needs to match up. Instead it's the same old same old every game.:

Bledsoe is uncomfortable with the shotgun, and you can't cover for bad O-linemen and poor blocking by spending an entire game trying to catch the defense off guard.

Those things are ocassional help - the VAST majority of the time the team just has to go out and execute.

All the trickery in the world can't hide poor execution.

we don't use the shotgun much because it does'nt fit the play action passing game well.i don't think the play calling is as big a deal as the qb having time to get the ball out and making the right decision.watch the games and you will see lots of open recievers on most every play but because of the bad line play and the inability to move around and make time the qb position has not been able to get the ball to them.

I agree with this. The strength of our team is the WRs. You have to find a way to get the ball off. It's the one thing no team in the league can match up against. You have to be smart enough to find a way to take advantage of that. If you can't do this, you have no business being in the NFL IMO.

They used the shotgun at least 10 times Monday Night I didnt notice a hug difference.

I thought the Cowboys didn't use shotgun much because Gurode isn't very good at it. I could be badly mistaken.
