What About Top 10 WR?

Moss had a great year. This should be measured over consistent performance. Odds are Moss will fall back to his average #'s this year. Less than 1,000 yds, 5 or fewer touchdowns, middle of the pack. Guys like TO and Smith perform consistently at a high level, so they are time tested and better.

moss averages?

he averages over 1,000 yds receiving and 8 TD's, not under 1,000 and 5 or fewer....

andre freaking johnson?? pitiful.

I would be interested to see a top ten list from some of the Skins fans.
I am curious where you see Moss on the list...

Santana Moss has played 6 NFL seasons and he averages 650 yds and 5 TD's a year.....
That is hardly a star player...
He did have his best year this past season , but lets make sure that last season was his breakout year before annointing him in Canton

I would want to see Moss put up another good season this year before I'd put him in the top WR in the league. I'd definately say he isn't top 5 material.

Harrison
Owens
R. Moss
Smith
Holt

in no particular order are all easily better WR than Santana right now. I think you can put Chad Jonshon in there also.

If Santana has another good season this year then he starts moving up the list some.

I don't know Leon, that seems like so much to ask.

:wink2:

can santana do this two years in his career?

this was really the only really good season he has ever had.let him do it twice before we call him top 3.

steve smith had a great year the year they went to the super bowl.santana with the jets was very average.

But you see Randy Moss or Steve Smith as those guys ?

Commanders Offense was #10 or 11 in total offense last season. Not exactly shabby either.

you are unbelieivable. you're even going to twist stats and post false information to justify your positions. i'll refrain from claiming you lied and just chalk it up to lazy research. given what you're trying to claim, i'm not sure which one is the truth.

first- moss has been in the league 5 seasons- not 6, as you claimed.

second, here are some numbers for you-

2001- started 0 games
2002- started 3 games
2003- started 12, 1105 yds, 10 TD's
2004- started 14, 838, 5
2005- started 16, 1483, 9

moss became a starter in his 5th game of 2003, which means he's been a starter for less than 3 full seasons. if you want to factor in his first 2 seasons and present it as a representation of what he can do on the field - right now- over a 16 game schedule, have at it. but you know and everybody on this board knows its a load of BS.

wow, I really hate when people open thier mouths when they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

in 2003 with the Jets, santana had a 1100 yard, 10 Td season(which is actually more than he put up this year).

Still waiting for some of the skins trolls to throw up a top 10 list

that would qualify as a 'breakout year', no???

i was wrong.no problem

i do think moss is top 10 tho but i still dont think he is in anyway top 5.

You are correct , my mistake .
Moss played 5 years not 6 and he has averaged 780 yards a year ...
Still not top ten stats...
Games played and started in my opinion are equated into a player being a top ten player or not and if you would want to get into that than Terry Glenn is a top 5 player....

So you are not here to participate in the thread? You are just here to cause problems?

you are clearly here to insult other posters who disagree with you. keep it to yourself.

I'm going to assume any Skins fan would put Moss top 10.

I want to know where - because I'd put him there too.

The fact is, though - Moss has had two fantastic years that sandwich one mediocre one. I'd draw the comparison to our own terrence Newman.

So if Moss is a top 10 - and I'm guessing Skins fans might even have him top 5 - then I never want to hear 2004 used as a slight against Newman, ever again. He is a top 5 CB - period.:)

That's pure yellow streak up the back there amigo.

Give me your top 10 list then let's discuss the guys who are lesser WRs than Santana.

Show some sack or cut the flack.

Again are you here to participate if so post your top 10, otherwise you are showing yourself to be nothing more than someone looking to troll. So which is it are you a troll or a participating member?
