What are the chances that Cheeto will end up a player without a firm position?

His probability of success is high. One of the safest picks in the draft.

He was a rock solid college player with the required size, speed and demonstrated intelligence. I would have been happy to get him in the first so I'm amazed they got him in the 2nd.

He has what they call a high floor. Some other CBs might have projected to have higher ceilings, but none had higher floors.

This is what I have been saying....I was thinking that they would trade back a little from the first into the early 2nd round and take him around 35 or so...to get him at 60 made me just giddy....h will have a role on this team and I expect him to be in there all 3 downs in some respect...3rd and long I can see him being the center fielder with Jones AND Heath still being in there, and then be able to read and react (very impressed with this guys intelligence and knowledge of the game)

Somewhere below 1%.

I'm not suggesting he will wash out, but our second round picks haven't met with uniform success. I think the chances are greater than 1 percent based on that alone. Having said that, I hope you are right.

We seem to want position flex at almost every position and other than the linemen it seems like we never really take advantage of position flexibility.

Of all the reasons Awuzie could bust (and there aren't many)... being a second round pick isn't one of them.

Dallas could have missed on the last 20 second round picks and it literally would have no outcome on how good Awuzie is or isn't. Even if you take pre-draft injuries and drug problems out of the equation. Add those things in and the fact that Awuzie has neither... and the second round certainly has no bearing on his career.

I understand why you (and others) tie him in with the fates of other recent second rounder picks... but logically, you have to know that there is no relation and no correlation.

The marketing could be huge for Chido, just envision this for a moment.
Chidobe strikes a deal with Frito Lay, the producer of "Cheetos." , and a commercial is made.
In the commercial, Chido runs up and smacks a WR so hard that he leaves a cloud of Orange Cheeto dust .
You know, like that orange Cheeto dust that sticks to your fingers when you eat a Cheeto.
Cheeto might even become so famous that he evokes such titles as.... "Agent Orange".
He scores on a pick 6, looks at the camera, and says: "It's not easy being cheesy."

Okay, maybe not a great idea...

Yes but the fact he is not a DE or Te improvez his chances of succedding.

I'll be shocked if he is a safety to be honest.

He looks like a perfect corner for what we like to do.
