Hamstrings detaching from bone are NOT mild injuries. But, I guess you’re also a doctor now as well as Team Insider. We get it - you want him gone so Jerry and Stephen will finally come to their senses and promote the QB you’ve been coaching up all these years and only you see how awesome he is. Look, I hope Rush proves everyone wrong and shows he can lead this terrible team to a few wins…just don’t see it happening.
Although I think Rush is capable, I am not pushing him as the Cowboys answer. That we will see in time.
But it was obvious that Dak wasn't the answer.

I'm just glad to see the Cowboys have an opportunity to improve.
Whether they take it and do something with it or not, they have the chance.

I will choose not to believe everything coming out of the Star. All the information could be totally legit, but misinformation is a reality.
Lol,
Hmmm…. The man was seeking a second opinion in hopes of not having to do season ending surgery that the original Orthopedic surgeon suggested, finally decides to do the
Recommended surgery because of some weird undefined conspiracy and not because that was what the professional orthopedic surgeon recommended.

People act like going under anesthesia is something to be taken as lightly as choosing between red or white sauce on their enchiladas!

Hanlon’s Razor…

Rather than apply a malicious motive, in this case trying to get up from under Dak’s contract by conspiratorially engaging in shutting him down unnecessarily, we should assume firstly that Jerry was just dumb and incompetent.

Tyron Smith had the hamstring come completely off the bone in 2022 training camp and came back for week 13.

Dak's hamstring injury is only a partial avulsion. But by the time he comes back the season will be over anyway. If this team ends up 6-11 it would be a grand achievement looking at the schedule.

I'll admit I don't know anything about sports injuries, but I can't say I have ever heard of a hamstring injury requiring surgery. Something smells rotten about this...
It's the avulsion fracture that complicates things. Even if the muscle heals, the bone might not heal properly alignment wise. The surgery ensures that it does.

I think you're delusional.

We’ll win the same number of SBs with Dak that we’ll win with Rush or Trey….none!

Hamstrings/quads require surgery when they detach from bone. Not sure why that’s so hard to understand.
Did I not just say I didn't know anything about sports injuries??

Dak's injury, although generally a mild one, has become serious. At the end of last season, there was an odd message delivered by McCarthy, despite the way it ended. No team fires a successful head coach; the coaching tree is more unpredictable than player acquisition. But McCarthy wasn't extended. Why?
So what is really going on? I don't believe that Mike McCarthy was ever in danger of being fired. The way the Cowboys approached the offseason was strange, to say the least. Not only did they not seek out a top running back, they refused to make any moves that would potentially improve the team.
All along I have felt that there was an alterior motive in what the Cowboys were doing. And extending Dak just hours before the season started was unnecessary. Now that he has proven to be ineffective, he is suddenly done for the season.
I think there may be something in his contract that we haven't seen that allows them to move past him.
I get the feeling Dak is done in Dallas.
What is really going on?

By the way; Will Grier may be coming back. The Eagles just released him.
"Dammmmmmmmmmmmm we really F#$KED this up".
