What are the odds of recovering from Dak's injury?

Only if our GM had this wisdom and built a legit OLine.

Who would have known that older QB's are less mobile?

To JJ’s credit, they did attempt to rebuild the oline with some rookies, but was unsuccessful.

Does anyone have a background in these type of injuries? Have there been other NFL Athletes that have come back from the hamstring being separated from the bone?
when you hear a 3-4 month recovery from surgery, that should tell you about how elite athletes with amazing access to physical therapy and other resources, that should tell you something. FL ... you just have to think for a second before posting. You don't have to keep asking terrible questions. You can grow

Dak already elected surgery and said, quote:

"I am looking forward to next season and be 100%".

I guess in march next year he will tell us he never felt that great in his career.

Then in TC he will tell us he is in the best shape of his life.

Well then after the frist game he will tell us he will be better.

Then after game three he will tell us he will work on those INTs.

Then in week 6..... Well... whatever. Who cares about him anyways.

Some of you guys hate Dak so much you are hoping it is a career ending injury. Funny thing is I have never heard a player let alone quarterback career end because of a hamstring injury.
Wow...went right to the hate thing right off the bat. Impressive!

Wanting a change isn't hate. In fact it is LOVE for the team. How about you?

As a cowboy fan and a Dak fan I hope for the best but I do however wonder if the lower extremity injuries are mounting to the point where it’s gonna be too tall a task to ask for a complete recovery

Dak has a high work ethic but Father Time is undefeated

He is on the wrong side of 30. His mobility has not been the same since the big leg/ankle injury a few years. He has always been big and strong, but never quick. The interesting thing is he was far less mobile this year as compared to last year. Like he aged 3 years in one year.

Tearing down mansions mid season to build even bigger and better mansions is stressful work

It will age a man

The only joke is that we have a noodle armed mental midget made of glass as our QB (making more money than anybody in the history of professional football) and you don't seem the least bit bothered by this

YES
most hamstring pulls heal on their own, but it can take weeks or months. The healing time depends on the grade of the strain, which can be mild, partial, or complete:
Grade 1: A minor strain that can heal in a few days
Grade 2: A partial tear that can take 4–8 weeks to heal
Grade 3: A complete tear that can take 2–4 months to heal

From A.I and experience of having a torn hamstring. When it popped I had a roll on the back of my leg. I let it heal on its own...God made the human body amazing. You be amazed at how many so called season and career ending football injuries could actually heal on its own if they would not try to get back fast and play.

I cannot see him returning to any past old form. He'll be unable to run effectively, and he cannot process mentally at game speed so not sure where that takes him or the team.
