What are the odds the Leary and Bernadeau split reps?

How much do you want to bet that Leary and Bernadeau end up splitting reps into the season? I'm not a fan of that at all.

Probably the same as Lee playing this season. It could happen but it shouldn't.

They won't split reps during the season. It's strictly for competition until a starter is named. OLs need to gel together.

We NEED our OL to gel. Can't really happen if they are splitting reps.

You mean like when Free and Parnell was splitting reps? Couldn't happen though? I think this team has shown that they like doing that. Same with Bernadeau and Waters (though that was more to bring Waters along physically).

I hope it doesn't happen, but I have a feeling it will.

I doubt it happens. I imagine one will start and as long as they don't have an injury or start getting killed due to poor play, they will stay as the starter and the other will be backup.

My guess is they would rather have leary win the job and have Mack be the OG and OC backup player. But don't know if Leary will win it as he has not been 100% yet.

Free was playing like horse crap that year. They tried to get a better performance out of him. Callahan actually tried to get Parnell in there full time. Different situation and is never the ideal.

The OLine is not like the dline. A good OLine thrives from cohesion. Pick a starter and stick with him.

We cherish Bern for the depth and versatility he provides. He's more important as a backup. Parnell was the same way before last year. He could fill in at either tackle spot. Hopefully he still can. That would give us excellent depth.
