Well, this has not been discussed yet....:lmao: ....kidding.....

It has been one of the more discussed topics this off-season. But here are the pundits take on this question.
I think some decent answers. Mickey a bit over the top, but I see where he is coming from as well, kind of.

I still say the best is a balanced approach with Zeke and Tony.
But this question is about realistic expectations, and not what should be the offensive philosophy from Moore.

I say 1200 yards is about right.

Slow offseason LOL
If Zeke gets 1100 to 1200 yards it will be a successful season for him
I still think even if that happens its his last season here.
His production does not match his salary.

In his first 20 touches or so of the season he will look like a rejuvenated back. After that, it will be meh.

I think Zeke is going to show out.......this a basically a contract year for him. He's playing this season not only for the Cowboys but 31 other teams.

He will get a bill of the carrys of he stays healthy along with the O-Line he will have 2000 total yards. He is still a solid RB. Worth his money, probly not.

I do not expect anything from him but him giving all he's got. I have never agreed with those dogging him because he would tap out. He is a one kind of runner, balls to the wall and if he's not charged up to 100%, he is an average back and he knows that.

He played <100% last season with a <great run OL and didn't make any excuses. I think Elliott is a hell of a teammate and they'll get everything he's got.

Do you think Pollard sees him as a great teammate?

he needs more rushes.

300 is a good target.

300 carries for about 1200 yards, that sounds about right.

There are 30 backs, if not more in the NFL that can do that in our offense.

Seeing as though Zeke is past his prime and older he would be better served with about 200 carries. It would make Zeke better and our running game much better.

I cant even understand what you tried to say here.
Now that I read it I can’t either. Hmm. Elliot will get the bulk of carries and will get 2000 all purpose yards. As long as he and the O-Line stays healthy..

Is that what you are hoping for or is that what you think will really happen?

If all is healthy and a go. He won’t drop off as much as some hope. He had a pretty bad injury last year. Along with a O-Line that didn’t impress as much as the media thought.

On how many carries? It doesnt mean diddly if it isnt efficient. If it takes him 300 carries to get there its pathetic. If it takes him 200-225 carries then its a great job. assuming 300 or so of those yards are receiving.

I expect a mid-season injury to slow him down ending at 4.3 ypc, 1,000 yards, and 10 TD's. I think he's capable of 5.0 YPC, 1,300 yards and 13 TD which would match his salary.

We all know you don't like Zeke. You're to Zeke what Pappy is to Dak.
