Well for one, they are forced to play the hapless Zeke because of his salary. And if you dont think that is happening you are kidding yourself.

Our run game and our offense are suffering because Zeke is being forced on it. But that will be over soon.

Then there is that little thing like the salary cap. If your overpaying a guy like Zeke it means you cant use that salary in other areas.

Again, what do I care about the money and salary cap. Zeke's playing because he's the best option. If they had faith in Pollard, I don't care what Zeke siad, they wouldn't have allowed him to play hurt last season. The run game isn't suffering because of Zeke. That's a farce, the run game is suffering because the entire offense was suffering from penalties and execution across the board.

That reminds me of Alfred Morris when he started 5 games when Elliott was suspended back in 2017. Many CZers were declaring 'Morris is better than Zeke....Morris averaged almost 5 yds a carry!'
Morris had 115 attempts for 547 yds= 4.8 ypc.
But they overlooked he had a 70 yd run that skewed up his output. Remove that rush, along with a single-carry game for 11 yds - it becomes
113 rushes for 466 yds = 4.12 yds per attempt.

Yeah it's amazing folks don't understand the math.

Too add. I agree Pollard need to be use more. It just don't have to be from the rb position. A 60/40 split is about right.

If you cant understand how the salary cap works and how overpaying guys affects that then lets move on. I cant help you.

As far as Zeke being the best, thats laughable. As everyone agrees Pollard should get a lot more of the touches and most think he should get more.

You dont say that about a guy that doenst look better than the incumbent.

Then again, all you have to do is watch them play and its easy to see. Or just look at the stats to see that Pollard is more effective and better when he gets his chance.

You say you understand math, but you dont understand how the cap works.

Pollard has been better than Zeke for 3 years. This isnt a few games.

Bad example.

And FYI..........that Morris example further proves what I have been saying about Zeke for years. Zeke does nothing special. Many backs can do what Zeke does in the Cowboys offense with some of the olines he has had. Like Morris and Like Pollard. Pollard just does it better.

The offense suffers because Zeke is a limited back that can do little more then run up the middle. Doesnt have the speed to get outside. Teams know this too so not only are they covering the inside gaps, but they are playing a deep shell and flooding the passing lanes knowing that Zeke cant hurt them. So he is hurting the run game AND the passing game.

Then you have the issue of his salary. Cant use the money of a better player at a position of need.

Then you have the issue where Zeke hogs the carries and wont let Pollard get his carries. Even when he is hurt he refuses to come out.

Cowboys offense will be much better off when Zeke is gone.

he's not affecting the salary, the Cowboys can sign ANYBODY they want. ZEKE is the best RB on the team, the small sample size means nothing but they should use Pollard more.

What has Pollard done? You're absolutely clueless with the 3 year take....lol Pollars hasn't had 150 carries in any season.. it's a very small sample size. ...lol. you're even more clueless claiming Morris was better. You're a joke.. lol

Lol Pollard didn't hurt anybody either when he was in? What's his problem? It has more to do with the entire offense. Pollard getting less 130 carries and he's getting hurt. Man goh.

Pollard has made Zeke look like a chump. Nearly a full ypc in every season both in the passing game and run game. More long runs than the slow zeke has had with 3 times the carries.

Poor Zeke looks like a turtle next to the speedy Pollard. Pollard was leading the NFL in ypc last year little guy.

If you want the crib notes for idiots..................Pollard does a lot more with the carries he gets. Zeke is in the 30 range when it comes to running efficiency numbers. Pollard is top 10.

3 years is no small sample size. Its why everyone wants to see much more Pollard and much less Zeke. Facts are stubborn things.

Ive now made you look foolish with Garrett, and now your horribly losing the Zeke vs Pollard argument. Seems most now agree with CowboyRoy.

Does it sting to know your hero has dropped down the RB lists just like I said he would?

You cant even keep up with your own BS.

Your hero Zeke in the 2nd half of the season a whopping 3.2 ypc? WOW what a stud!!!

Even with over 230 carries your hero could barely reach 1000 yards. He needed help from the coaches to get it. Poor guy. Will you miss him when he gets punted next year?

Lol again, learn math. His high ypc is due to low carries....lol You're looking real stupid right now...lol Pollard is so much better they rather sit him behind Zeke and lose:lmao:.

Yet Zeke's carries have continued to go down the last 3 years and his ypc goes down as well?

Looks like your theory just got roasted.

If getting less carries really makes a RB better than Zeke should get 4 or 5 a game. You said it yourself. "Duh Less carries make you better right"? :muttley:

I guess you gave up on the math stuff eh? :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao:

But Pollard does get on the field and when he does he makes Zeke look like a chump. Actually, when he gets on the field, he is one of the best backs in the NFL.

6.5 ypc leading the NFL. Poor little chump didnt know that 6.5 > 5.3 :lmao2:

You may be right at this point. But I bet the owner-GM doesn't see it that way Roy. My question is can Pollard take the workload and stay healthy. Not so sure.
