GB isnt stupid they will put some escalator in the deal saying if TB trades Favre they owe 2 number 1s or something similar

It doesn't? They run a west coast offense and Jon Gruden coached under Holmgren in GB as the WR's coach.

He fits more there than he does with the Jets or the Bears.

The Vikes. If Favre is wearing a Viking uniform against the Pack to open up MNF then the GB front office should all be immediately fired.

Is it only me who things Favre orchestrated this whole thing cause he wants out of GB so he can play with the Vikes. Believe he sees them as a more viable SB option then GB. Believe Favre desperately wants to win 1 more SB; he's great great stats but only 1 ring. Heck, a lot of QBs have won 1 SB but not so many have won 2. Believe Favre's competitiveness (or is it his ego?) demands another SB ring. He wants to go out on top with a SB win in his last season (just like Elway) & the fandom of success ringing in his ears. It would be his last big hurrah--although he could come back in 2009 to try win another with the Vikes. I just don't see that happening with the Bucs. Besides the Cowboys will win the SB this year & next year.

Green Bay would never attach Farve to Adrian Peterson and the Vikings defense. I'm sure there are clauses left and right in the agreement that says Farve cannot under any circumstances enter the same division during the life of his current contract.
