The offense failed vs the Eagles in game 1. At home vs the Arizona and the Chargers. Terrible against the Bears. In Denver a total fail. Carolina they fell short.

Strongest is obviously WR, if you ask me.

Weakest could be CB or OT, depending on how things go. A pass rush would help the corners, so I'm not sure if last year's product was all on them.

We'll see how it goes.

Talent wise I think OT but CB scares me because so much unproven and one can’t stay healthy. We have talent at CB while at Tackle it’s a lack of talent that’s the issue

But Bland and Revel and Moore all can't stay healthy.

I see it as CB. Could also end up being surprisingly edge, as far as pass rush. We still don't have a dominate edge rusher.

We have a ton of potential but we've been saying that about guys like Sam Williams for years.

OT is weak sauce tho, which is why I think it becomes necessary to play Tyler Smith there. TJ Bass is a better player than Guyton. IMO.

Well maybe a bit extremly put. I wasnt in the mood to type so much to explain it thouroughly. I thought people will be able to get my point

But you seem not to. And since you proved again and again that you are interessted, able to and so worth to have a good exchange of opinions ill spend some more time into explanation.

Turpin is no WR. He is a speedster who is not reliable. Not in his route tree, route running nor ball catching. He is not nothing but drags down the WR position in my opinion when it comes to the question the OP has.

Unlike others here i am not on the Flournoy hype train. He had his 2nd year with us last season and finally his name was mentioned more than once. But would he have seen the field more if not for injuries? I honestly doubt it. So not because of improvement he took the field. But then he made the best out of the oportunity. Still i do not view him as a 3rd WR. He is not good enough. All he really had going for him coming out of college was his 4.44 speed and i dont see more after two years in the NFL. He sometimes looks shaky and lost during his route running.
Right now he is an average 4th i would say. He may prove me wrong, since he may need some more time to get a grasp of the NFL coming out of a small college. But right now ill judge him by what he showed until today not what could be.

So no, we dont have nothing after our first two WRs. We have below average talent at best. And that to me is not worth mentioning.

I think the strongest position is at guard and that will be obvious once the seasons gets underway.

Booker and Smith are going to dominate for many years and Bass is a very capable backup.

I also think that DT is very strong with Clark and Williams.

I don't think that WR is as strong as we think. I don't think they are deep at all unless Flournoy really steps it up this season.

I think CB is the weakest area but they have the potential to surprise.

Bass is not a tackle though. Health is key at CB. I’m not too worried about a dominate edge. I think they can create pressure by committee and with scheme. OT worries me the most because it’s talent. CB is just about staying healthy because we have some talent there

What a difference a couple of years makes. 2 years ago the answer to weakest position group would be hands down DT. Now, no one is listing it as a weakness and several have called it a strength.

The weakest now is harder to pick now because unfortunately there are several good options. CB, RB, OT, Edge, are all possibilities but don't forget TE.

Funny thing is, if Revel comes around and Moore can stay on the field, CB could be a strength. Durant is a legit NFL player, and maybe Derion Kendrick has recovered from his 2024 ACL surgery. He still has upside, and has 17 NFL starts under his belt.
