Focus even harder on my workout routine, and achieve my goal of 6 pack abs by April.

...then fire my yardman so I can cut my own grass...shirtless!

Gosh, I don't know.

I have plenty of time to concentrate on other things. My factory just closed, so I have no job, my team just lost, so I have nothing to look forward to until next season.

So, maybe I'll volunteer to help people out who are less fortunate than me. I have the time now.

I am not sure yet.

But on my short list is find a way to stop posting on message boards. I need another hobby.

Everything I do somehow comes back to the cowboys and I need a rest from it for awhile.

Wow I'm sorry to hear about the job. I really hope things work out for you. Hang in there.

I have a hard time watching the playoffs when we're not in it.. I normally find something else to do like give some of that time back to the family that I let the Boys convince me to take away during the season.

relax and take it easy till the draft?

repair or replace broken furniture?

do some work around the house that we all put off during football season?

pay more attention to the wife that we all put off during football season?

go to work tomorrow hungover like i'm about to do?

yoga?

watch real teams compete for the prize?

hang yourself?

just accept the fact that another year has gone by and you are are not getting any younger and the glory days of the 70's and 90's will never happen again?

I will certainly not be as engrossed in football as I usually m. I will root for the Panthers now that the Boys are eliminated since they are the "local" team here (even though Charlotte is more than 100 miles from Raleigh). I like the Colts & Chargers in the AFC so I'll pull for whichever of them does well.

In a way I am relieved that the Cowboys are out now. They weren't playing as a team and likely wouldn't have gone far anyway. I had hopes that they could pull it together but those dreams were shattered by halftime today.

I turned the game off just before halftime and played Wii with my grandson. I checked back in in the 3rd quarter and saw that we were getting crushed and went back to playing tank killer(or whatever it is called). That is the first time that I can remember ever turning off a Cowboys game before it was over. I just saw that they had no heart for this game and I didn't want to see them flounder around for another half. After seeing the final score I'm glad I did. My grandson & I had a great time together instead although my wife could tell that something was wrong as I was pretty grouchy all evening.

It just kills me to see all this talent wasted like this.

Does anyone else remember the old days when the Cowboys didn't suck? I miss the 70s.

On the other hand, I still have the Lakers to root for!

I was planning on visiting this site daily looking for the announcement that WP had been fired and then looking forward to all the speculation on who the new HC would be. Guess that's all out the window now. I guess I can MAYBE look forward to the ST coach getting canned along with Stewart, but I'm not even sure of that.

I'm going to watch my Lakers take it deep into the playoffs again and hopefully beat Boston this time around... (if Boston makes it)

I have to change gears quickly or else this Cowboys **** will really get me worked up.

Amen brother!!! Glad to see I'm not the only Lakers fan around here.

I was all of 5 years old when I became a fan, and I do remember the late 1970's. The first game I ever watched was SB 12.

My most vivid memories are of the 1990's team. What I would give to see that kind of talent, fire, and passion again from this team!

Play more golf. I am now old enough to finally accept that it's just a game and I do not let the outcome rule my week like I used to and most on this board do. I actually find humor in this. Jerry Jones has backed himself into a corner with his premature comments. I really believe the entire staff should go. New stadium, new coaching staff, new start. Well. I will be going to the Cardinals game next week as they made the playoffs.

They barely made any money back then. I really think today's overblown salaries are taking away from the sacred game the we all have grown to know & love... As we move further into the future the phrase "for the love of the game" gets more and more distant.
