if we are being honest with ourselves....the defense...this defense tends to wait until they get punched in the mouth before they decide to play...dominating defenses don't do that....first of all dominating defenses pretty much have the offense intimidated before they even take the field....you can tell by the play calling and game plan of the offense...and then they come right out and dictate the game to the offense, which confirms what the offensive players/coaches thought they knew


so i hope this year we turn over a new leaf and come out of the gate pressing and blitzing and letting the opposition know that they are not ever going to get comfortable going against us

I still have to see it before I believe it when it comes to this defense. I have visions of our corners all playing off or in zone and getting torched left and right -- this despite knowing we have a great pool of talent there.

So seeing Anderson, Winslow and Edwards toy with us is what has me the most nervous. We should be able to hold up against them, but will we?

He's nursing a high ankle sprain and IMO he will not play on Sunday.

Top three things that have me nervous.

1. Corey Proctor.

2. Punt/Kick coverage even if Cribbs isn't on the field.

3. Close game in the 4th quarter. The Cleveland fans will be into this game and make this a tough environment. We need to pull away at some point.
