I'm currently reading: The Blind Side by Micheal Lewis (author of Moneyball). Good book so far. Even offers a few of Parcells thoughts on LT. So far i've learned that Russ Grimm was playing left tackle on the play that LT sacked Theismann and broke his leg ending his career. Only reason he was in is because Joe Jacoby was out hurt so Grimm was moved over from his left guard spot. Interesting.

I watched Apocalypse Now recently on the HD Movie Channel, and it gave me an itch to read "Heart of Darkness" again. So that's what I'm reading.

Excellent writer. If you haven't read his memoir series (Angela's Ashes, 'Tis and Teacher Man), it's really fantastic.

That's a great book.

By the way, your signature is confusing. Do you mean "bury the hatchet"?

I had a "Lit and Film" class where we had to read Conrad then watch Apocalypse Now and compare/contrast.

Also had to read/watch Deliverance then a short story whose name escapes me that was the basis for The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

What a great way to get college credits.

Just finished reading "The Circle" trilogy by Nora Roberts not long ago. Very good books, IMO.

Morrigan's Cross
The Dance of the Gods
Valley of Silence

Are the names of the 3 books (in order).

Glad you axed. I'm reading Blood and Thunder by Hampton Sides. Anyone who digs Kit Carson and the Westward Expansion should run to the bookstore and pick up a copy. Hardcover only. Just finshed Mayflower(Philbrick) and The Road(McCarthy). For some reason, I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction works simultaneously.

'Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire.

Some parts are great, some are meh. Kinda overrated as a book.

Before it, I read 'Life of Pi.' That was possibly one of the best books I read all of 2006.

70-297: Designing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure, funny how my 1996 NT 4.0 certs don't mean as much anymore.

Of course, before I started my new studies, I was going through, I was reading a lot of these books, before school had started.
