What are your 32 Team Rankings?

IDK i don't think they have what it takes to repeat they aren't that good of a team and got buy basically from average QB play and above average defensive pressure. however he is a manning and the possibilty for a Manning Manning superbowl is 2 much for the league to pass up

95.7 Passer Rating in the post-season is far from average. That's clutch play when it counts. That defensive pressure looked a bit more than "above average" to me as well.

Average? I mean, for most of the season, definantly. But in the playoffs Eli really stepped up. I don't like defending him but its true.

But still, I agree that they won't repeat.

I think Washington belongs in the 16-20 range. Of course I'm hoping for better, but I think the offense will keep us back for another year. I do believe that Campbell is the future though. No way Dallas belongs #1 (not replying to the OP - the top of his list looks good). You can say the Giants win over the Cowboys was a fluke (although I don't believe that) but by that logic you would still have to put the Pats ahead of the Boys.

I think the Skins will be better than that.

And I think the Giants are improved and will again be a handful. Both the Giants and Cowboys are in the top five-six.

I think we'll have a top ten defense, but by the end of the year we'll regret not infusing the OLine with some youth.

Is it possible to say 31 teams and just leave the Raiders off of the list?

Those guys have been drafting top 5 for how many years? They should have an all star team over there, yet they consistantly turn out trash year in and year out.

like beating us in the post season or regualar season? :p:

im a fan of the cowboys so they go on top regardless...
I just think you are the champ til you are beaten....

i dont think the pats are the best , their def wasnt that good last year, only reason there ranked up there was b/c their off controlled the clock while the def spent time on the sideline. so my top 5 is

1.cowboys
2.chargers
3.giants
4.colts
5.patriots

i know man. You are the champ untell mathmatically eliminated or eliminated in the playoffs, only reason i put the pats above us is we didn't beat them and we could have. giants...pfft they pulled off one for the record books which needed alot of luck and things to go their way

I think we should call it a tie for 1st place....... To me, there seems to be only a hand-full of elite teams... In 2008 through 2010 list will widdle itself down to only 2 or 3 teams... Those will be the dominant teams over the next 4-7 years, hopefully Dallas will emerge as the best. I think the NFL is at its best when there's 2 or 3 teams that are far better than the others... Much like in the early 90's, you knew it was going to either be the Cowboys or the 49ers to win the SuperBowl.

As for 2008, there's only 5 teams that have a chance at winning it all.

1. Colts, Cowboys, Giants, Patriots, Steelers

Here's how I see it for 2008. I think put a little less weight on 2007 results than most. I also overvalue the QB position when grading a team. I view most teams with an arrow. They're either ascending or descending.

1. Dallas - we are a 13 plus win team. The draft, FA and the continued growth of Romo's game certainly make us an ascending team. Hard to keep a 2007 13-3 with so many upward pointing arrows out of the top spot.
2. Indianapolis - they match up well with New England. Getting Freeny back is huge.
3. New England - hard to drop an 18-1 SuperBowl loser to the 3 hole. Like last year, they get to the SB if they avoid Indy in the playoffs.
4. Jacksonville - really like them. Strong team. I think they match up well with Indy. Could get to the SB if they dont have to play New England.
5. San Diego - Outside the QB position, they've been the most talented team by a large margin. They will be again. They have more players I wanted us to draft or sign than the rest of the league. Like Jacksonville I see them doing better against Indy than NE.
6. New Orleans - This is the elephant in the room nobody's talking about. In the short Romo era, no team has stuck it to us like they did. I'd prefer them on our 2008 schedule to give us a chance to exercise that demon in the regular season. No such luck, we'll have to do it in the playoffs.
7. N.Y. Giants
8. Pittsburgh
9. Cleveland
10. Seatlle
11. Carolina
12. Denver

13. Minnesota
14. Tampa Bay
15. Greenbay
16. Houston
17. Philadelphia
18. St Louis
19. Washington
21. Cincinatti
22. Chicago
23. Kansas City
24. Arizona
26. Tennessee
27. N.Y. Jets
28. Detroit
29. Oakland
30. Miami
31. San Francisco
32. Atlanta
