I expect him to play just like he did for New England out of the gate.

You know what buddy, I'm gonna side with you on this. It was a great deal and I'm excited about his potential.

This has nothing to do with me hating Dak. I've always liked Dak for the most part, but he is giving off a pretty strong Romo body breaking down type vibe and it seems his time is coming to a conclusion.

It would be amazing if Milton develops to the heir appearent.

Anybody really think Milton is going to come in and take Booger's handpicked $60 million dollar "best shape of my life's" QB's job?

I don't. I suspect we'll get a look in preseason out of necessity. And once the season starts he won't see the field until Qak tweaks his tukas and ruled out for the season. That's been the case with Rush the last three years when Qak missed 26 starts.

There was two votes with Milton winning the starting job in 2025 but one fan had a sudden reality check and changed their vote.

Won't play until Dak gets hurt. Comes in and misfires on a bunch of passes and launches several others into the turf at such a velocity that Jerry feels a stirring in his loins and gives a slurred postgame ramble to reporters about how he looks good in the shower too. Following the 10th loss of the season he stops talking to reporters and Schotty tells his agent to see if there any loopholes that would enable him to get out of his contract.

Jerry raises ticket prices the following summer.

Training wheels. He'll need time but i expect lots of excitement here and there in camp and pre-season.

As of right now my expectations are he’s going to be our 3rd string developmental QB. I don’t know how to expect more than that prior to TC and preseason games.

3 years as a rookie left, then when that deal is done Dak will be.. 35. Good chance he re-signs with Dallas for an opportunity to succeed Dak down the road or compete with another young QB they bring in

Longterm backup

I think he beats Grier out for #2 spot. I don't know where you guys are getting this he can't throw mess from.

future starter.
Same, in Dallas the bar is low, all he has to do is beat the scrub teams and Jerry has found his guy for the next 8 years. :flagwave:

all cynicism and sarcasm aside, he's a good player to take a flyer on so maybe Jerry will strike oil again, fingers crossed.
