I think it is very reasonable to expect 10-12 wins next year.

Why????................The schedule.

We play some God-awful teams next year, we got very lucky drawing the AFC West (Probably the worst division in football).

We get Oakland, Kansas City, Denver and San Diego. (Nobody in the entire division had a winning record, SD won it with an 8-8 record).

Throw in Seattle, New Orleans, and Green Bay (all of which had losing records) and that gets us to 6 non-playoff games and throw in another 2 more against the Skins and that comes to 8 games right there.

Thus, over half of our schedule is against non-playoff teams, any coach with 10% of his brain working could get 10 wins with this roster and a schedule loaded with lottery teams.

You should have learned by now that the records of our opponents don't matter in the least. Dallas has lost to more than just one team that ended up 2-14 in the last few years.

How about that Rams game! The Rams beat the living hell out of Dallas then followed that up by not winning another game since. That streak will continue into next season.

I have no expectations from this team whatsoever. A ship without a rudder.

My expectation are high for this team, they failed to live up to their ability no excuses for that but in my view those expectation should not be lowered.

We are the Cowboys ...... my expectations are always Superbowl.

Now what I predict will happen? 11-5 and a loss in the second round of the playoffs.

I will watch the games with bemusement, and check faithfully for Bach and Gimme beating their drums. :)

10-6, then a first round beat down by the Lions who were consulted by Dan Reeves.

Tough tough tough question. And not just because it's Feb 6th.

The general consensus on this team will be that they are the ultimate wildcard. That's what you'll be reading this June.

We will see win predictions ranging from 6-12.

I've always been a glass half full kinda guy so I'll go with 12 or more wins.

The talent on this roster justifies that prediction. And anyone who denies this or insists our talent is over rated, doesn't know thier *** from a hole in the ground.

Just take a conservative yet realistic view of the roster.

There are 32 starters in this league at 22 positions. Now in todays game with all the sub packages, you really have close to 30 starters.

If you put together a qualified pool of NFL talent people to rank the top 960 players who man those 30 spots, what do you think our average ranking would be?

Perhaps an 8-8 team may get an average ranking in the mid teens.

There's not a bit of doubt the average ranking of our top 30 players would be a single digit number. I would guess our average player ranking would be the highest in football. Certainly top 3.

What really excites me is quality of our talent within that top 30 at the most impactful positions.
Having strong talent across the board is great, but having elite players at the most critical spots is huge.
And we have that. QB, RB, Weakside passrusher, Interior DL, LOT, WR, CB.

It's always been my opinion that these 7 positions in this order have the greatest impact on a team. If I could have just 7 elite players. 7 top 5 ranked guys somewhere between All-Pro and Pro-Bowler, these are the spots I want them in.
And as I said, we have that. All 7 guys we have in those spots are of that caliber.

Since I'm not insane I won't expect different results from this last season if nothing significant changes.

More of the same, but maybe a lot worse.

What has changed in house to help chemistry, work ethic, and attitude? Nothing. Who makes an about face when there are no examples of what happens to the people responsible for the mess in the first place?

I expect to see something between 7-9 and 9-7.

This team is more of a mess than I ever thought possible, I thought for sure Jerry wouldn't revert back to his old ways.

Imo, we should have at the very least had a new head coach, but didn't Jerry promise that opening to Jason Garrett? It's obvious that he is not respected enough by his players(TO, Roy11, Romo) to hold that job ever, imo.

i have stopped dreaming of championships in dallas,

and stop wishing with my heart,

when the players play in a game like they did in phily, and then on the plane ride back home, some players are laughing and hooping it up on the plane, that says it all right there,

till that attitude is changed, nothing will ever happen with this team

jerry jones promised changes would be coming, and he said he would find out what players didnt give their 100 percent plus, but nothing has been done in that regards, nothing but promises and hot air

then you have a chance to get a great coach that is known for not putting up with lack luster play, and poor attitude, and jerry jones almost gets him signed, then he puts a stupid silly clause in the contract, that no other coach has ever had, in his contract

that says it all right there, so i dont see any chances from this team, especially with a head coach that doesnt allow hitting in the first 25 days in training camp, and he lets players off during the week, especially the day after they lose a game like the cardinal game,

and the owner wont let that coach fine the players more than $100 for being late to meetings or treatments,

so why should the players care, when you dont work them like they should be worked.

sure they want to be treated like professionals, but when you play a game like they did in the last game of the season to be in the playoffs, thats not being a professional

period!

so i dont see any changes in this team, in fact, i think they will have a losing year, worse than last year, because nothing really has changed

do you still see players talking and blabbing to the media yes, that should have stopped at the end of the season, but did it no, so there are no real changes and now with not hiring a tough no nonsense coach like Dan Reeves, your still where you are as a team no where

because the schedule is even tougher than last year, so how can they improve, i dont see it, they had a slight chance with the hiring of dan reeves, but as jerry jones says that wont happen now, so i dont see any hope

since i dont see any hope, im not buying any cowboys stuff, till the dallas cowboys front office changes their attitude and the players attitude
