What are your other favorite teams?

I lived in Seattle for a while and I like Holmgren a whole lot (how could you not respect a guy who starts at the high school level and works all the way up the coaching ladder to winning a Superbowl?), so I tend to follow them closely. But I don't don't know if you could say I "cheer" for them.

In addition to the Cowboys I have three other favorite teams:

1. Whoever is playing the Commanders

2. Whoever is playing the Eagles

3. Whoever is playing the Giants


I only wear the Silver Blue though.

Dallas is the only team. But since I am a natural born Texan I will give the Texans a chance to make me want to have two favorite teams.
I like ol Matt Shaub.

I always thought that he ran the Falcons offense better than Vick.

As everyone knows by now, I absoutely love the eagles, the RedStinks, the 49'ers, the Packers, the Giants, the Cardinals, the Bears, the Browns, Miami, the Ravens, the...well you get the picture....




I root for them all! You know why? Because they WANT to be like the Dallas Cowboys!!

Just curious-are the Cowboys your only favorite you have to be loyal to? Or do y'all have other favorites? Here are some of mine, FWIW:

2. Saints-having lived there for 15 years prior Katrina, grew close to the city and the team

3. Colts-see #2, the Mannings are the most respected members of that community(no, never did like Eli, even when he was at Ole Miss)

4. Tennessee-Our Man, Vince Young

5. Pats-What's there NOT to like about?

No other favorites. I do like watching young sleeper team progress and start whooping tail. The Rams when they emerged in the 90s, the last I did enjoy NE for a while, and teams like SD and NO recently. When they get too good I begin to hate them.

The next 2 I like are AZ and SF. For what could be the fun/talent aspect of their skill players.

I have none. Just the Cowboys and anyone who plays against the Browns.

I am a one NFL team kinda guy too!

If you're going to have more than one favorite team, you may as well make every one of them your favorite team. That way, if your favorite team loses on any given Sunday, they win! Hot diggity dog! YEEEEEEEE HAWWWWW!

In the words of a former Cowboy (sort of)," What do FAVORITE mean?" Favorite means just that FAVORITE that's it. The COWBOYS are it. :lombardi: There can be no other. (at least not in the NFL)

Maybe the more appropriate question would be, outside the Cowboys organization, who are your favorite players from other NFL teams? That seems to be more realistic since most here have favorite college players that we've tracked that didn't get drafted by the Dallas Cowboys and it's only natural to root for them when they're not playing against our favorite NFL team. Currently, Vince Young falls into that category for me. Before that, believe it or not, I was a huge Ricky Williams fan. All time, it was Earl Campbell for me. Just loved watching him plow over defensive players back in the 70s.

But never could I see myself having another favorite NFL team outside of the Cowboys. Unless, of course, the answer could be any pro team that played against the Commanders. If that counted then I suppose it's possible.
