I think every year fans fetishize over the big uglys.
I think Mazi Smith is several overrated. He may show some tools at the combine but he never actually put it together at Michigan.
I do like Becton and think the Daron Payne comp is apropos.
I think that type is what people should look at when looking at 1T's. Powerful 315-20 pounders with movement ability. Even against the run, 340-50 lbs space fillers are a bit dated. Teams can scheme to take advantage of the limited mobility, and I think alot of teams did that to us with Bohanna. He couldnt move with the defense on the perimeter run plays that killed us the first half of the season. It was better with Hankins, because he still has enough athleticism to move with the rest of the line on run plays
