Ok.

So, my desk chair armrest cushions are peeling away to the metal. I can buy a new one NP, but this one is broken in seat wise, problem is i don't like the headrest.

Ok so if i want to keep this chair for another year or so what can i use to wrap around the armrest area that will be comfortable to the elbow area?

I was thinking of just using a strong tape of some sort with some kind of cushion under it, but i was thinking tape might be uncomfortable, what will stick and be comfortable?

I use large microfiber towels on my work chairs even when they are brand new. They provide extra padding and raise the armests a little.

Thanks, ill have to look into that. I am a constantly moving shifting, so im guessing i would need to stabilize the towels to the arm rests somehow. Velcro inside that towels, or tape outside the towels, etc?

So, you wrote this during the third quarter of the game! Lol, you were either bored or very nervous.

I wouldn't use something that makes it hard to remove and rewrap them, which I do every so often to clean them, but something like velcro might work on the inside.

I should point out, I mean large and thick microfiber towels. Not those thin little microfiber hand towels you see at most places.

I've used regular towels in the past as well, but they need to be new and/or soft.

The elbow skin will go quickly if this process is not done properly, i can see you got your methods down, now i need to find out what works for me. Thanks for the info. I'll try like 3 or 4 methods tops and then ill start the process of looking for a new desk chair.

For the last few years ive been thinking who can customize my headrest.

People might misinterpret my post based on elbow movement, i don't even care. Anyone who is constantly shifting in a desk chair for many work hours knows the slightest detail will cause physical disturbances in the arm rest area. :lmao:
