Ok we discussed the LB's Ware vs Spencer vs Bradie vs Ellis...and all of them....and we discussed our D-Line to some point....and we have talked about our Safeties to some point...

I know our corners dont really get discussed because Newman makes them look average, I dont know if Educan brain washed most of you....but Henry is far from average...hes average when not healthy....hes above average when healthy Henry is like a C+/B corner

I think Henry will have a big year....because with this new pressure D that will make the QB get rid of the ball faster than he wants, Henry will be able to jump routes like he loves to do...even with out non pressure D he still jumped routes....he got burnt a few times...but also got interceptions, and a lot of bat downs....

i just cant wait to see, what he does......I think Newman will have more INTS but i think Henry, will be all over the place laying hits and breaking up alot of passes

Glenn? he likes too jump routes and gamble also...kinda like Champ, i think he will have a few ints

Who do you guys think will have the bigger year, out of our corners?

Courtney Brown.

I have high hopes he can come in and at some point take over the nickel CB job from Aaron Glenn.

Glenn has been very solid, but that TD he gave up to the other Roy Williams right before halftime in the loss to the Lions last season just haunts me to no end.

Besides, Glenn turns 35 on Monday. We need a young guy to step up. Reeves and Jones are clearly not starting material.

We know Newman and Henry are going to do their thing. So 'big year' for me would be Brown becoming the Nickel CB and helping this defense make more dynamic plays this season.

TNew.

He is the best CB on the team and should have his best year ever.

Welp, in my eyes Newman will prevail as our top CB
for the Cowboys in 2007 and will, in my eyes, make his first trip
to the Pro Bowl. He's been overlooked for far too long. I think the pressure
defense that Wade brings will force the QB to be less picky about where he throws the ball...ie, he will be forced to get rid of it asap rather than pick and choose which defenders (cb's) he needs avoid. This will give Newman opportunites to rack up some INT's. Let's face it, people measure CB's on their INT stats when voting them to the PB. We already know he's the best cover guy out there for us, and he also has the best hands. He just hasn't had too many chances to pick off balls. I'm banking on this changing.

I rest my case.

IMO Newman will because he'll finally be able to play the ball instead just the wr.

Interesting. But he was damn good at playing the WR.

Newman could have 0 INTs and still have the biggest season out of our corners simply becuase of the effect he has on quarterbacks. They don't throw at him, which changes an offense completely. And he shuts down top WRs game after game...there is only 1 maybe 2 other corners in the league that can do that.

I think that you've given Eduncan way, way, WAY too much credit.

Saaaay, where IS Eduncan anyway? :)

The obvious answer is TNew, however Henry is motivated and I would not eliminate him

Henry is a guy who actually is better at catching INTs. So he might get more highlights. But I prefer a CB that prevents catches. A gambling CB will get burned more then he makes INTs.
