I am 43... and I just simply cannot express what I feel.. I am beyond frustrated, angry and disappointed. But anyway... back in the 90s... The following teams:

Saints
Seahawks
Cardinals
Bucs

These them simply sucked and sucked hard.
Now they have been very good for years, and well we all know what happened to our Cowboys?

Did the former teams changed ownership or what happened?
I know free agency etc etc.. but still.. WHAT CHANGED?

There is no end. The Jones family will poorly manage this ship until the end of time.

Years of rebuilding and typically a coaching change as well. Tampa/Arizona really haven't been good up until this year. New coaches and qbs in 2019/2020.

Same with Seattle getting wilson/carroll, and new orleans with brees/Payton.

The other thing is all these teams were really bad for several years before they got good, so they did have some years of top draft picks before they landed the coach/qb combo.

Culture and organizational structure matter. I think Cowboys fans- all of us- have for too long tried to pretend we don’t have an idiot running this thing. The emperor has no clothes my friends. Hasn’t for a long time.

We want so badly to believe that talent can overcome dysfunction. When the last 25 years have been screaming at us that it cannot. We just want to believe so bad that not having a functional front office could be overcome.

It’s not a coincidence that the owners of the last 24 winning SB teams ALL hired someone else to run their football operations. Owners that are serious about winning don’t do it the way the Jones cartel does.

Saints brought in Brees, in another year, two at most it’s another 30 years wearing paper bags on their head. Seahawks got lucky with an enigma with Wilson. Are the Cardinals actually good... still leaning towards Murray being a biust. Bucks haven’t been good, they picked up what was probably the best QB ever, albeit old and there defense is playing really good right now!

You do understand that talent alone isn’t enough. If we had Mahomes and the entire All Pro first team roster from last year, that does not fix this mess. This mess is DEEP. And it starts at the top. This mess is culture.

I say when the team extended Zeke's contract when he still had 2 years remaining. And our best pass rusher also got paid (DLaw), and zoned out. Our 2 promising LB's LVE & Jaylon Smith have been a disaster. Our drafts have been bad.

I couldn't tell you many NFL owner's names, just most of their coaches.

Jerry is a damn celebrity. No coach here will have the final say, Jerry is always weakening the coach's voice.

Three main problems

1. Jerry wants to keep/sign most of his players but then gets himself in trouble with the cap. There are many examples....

2. Jerry believes the team is one player away and trades away top draft picks and then hampers the draft.

3. Jerry drafts players that have an injury history and then those injuries follow with the team.
