Romo, near the 5 last week. He looks for receivers when all he had to do is give the ball to Murray.
Give it to him 4 times if need be but GET THAT TD!

Romo passes into double coverage. A pix. Bad decision again.

We could be 2-0 at this point, as improbably as it seem.

Tony, there is nothing wrong with being the bus driver if we keep the ball and manage it well.
41 minutes time of possession at Tennessee?? 160-plus yards for Murray?? Are you kidding me??
This might be the way for a respectable season. Give. The. Ball. To. Murray.

Give it to him early, often and as much as possible.

along the way Dez was able to put up 100 yards and a redzone TD as well. Tenn expect run and Dallas hit them for an easy TD pass to Dez on a 1-1 coverage

Here we go again

Put your cynasism aside fer once. The premise here is a good one: Give it to Murray. He's on a roll. Manage the ball mostly on the ground.
If you cannot digest that or fathim that, then your a lost cause, which I half always beliefed.

The ying and yam of football. I love what I am seeing with Murray.

The point was that everyone rehashed that garbage of a game by Romo for an entire week now and he got skewered royally by the whole nation for it. It's clear he's not himself yet. I vented heavily on this as well...it was infuriating last week.

There have been several threads saying he should drive the bus more--which, btw, I agree on.
The "here we go again" was for that.

I'd like to see him be more than Alex Smith but would prefer he not sling it 40-45 times a week.
No cynicism whatsoever.

You're the one being butthurt because I called you out for a dropping another thread that has been out there a dozen times already.
I'm 100% all for giving Murray the rock and have never said otherwise.

My. Such invective for me, a proud son of the Hills of Framers Branch.
Call me names, ridicule me at the Moose Lodge at Grandparents Night where you caused them to flea in tears with your name calling. Call me Mr. Supreme Truth but do not call me a rehasher. i detest rehashing.

Mr. DFWJC, tear down the walls of venom! (OK, JC did not teach me good the use of metaphors so sue me).
For once, be astute and cival. You cant be a stick in the mud for all to see. Besides, I'm rubber and your glue . . .

Sadly, giving it to him EARLY, isn't a Good thing. You know, since he seems to FUMBLE around that time. Maybe often & as much as possible, when we get a lead in the game. I'm all for Murray getting more carries but let's not act as if he hasn't had his faults thus far this season, as has Romo.

Romo needs to be a game manager. He has maybe 1 good year left. The problem is Romo can't manage a game on a consistent basis without turning the ball over multiple times.

Oh, Gimme, I was pretty excited about holding the ball for 2/3rds of a game...and having the league leader in rushing, even after just two game, is pretty nice. I have to admit as well.

I've been saying "what could've been" with this team for the past 5+ years now. For last season... what if we just ran the ball in the second half of the Packers game, what if the Lions didn't have that miraculous comeback win against us, what if Romo played the last game vs Phily... This team seriously has had (and still has) the talent to be great... we just get in our own way, simple as that.

Iffin (this will perk up DWFJC) romo can thow 3 to 5 pix in a game, Murray is allowed the occasional fumble. Theh point being that Murray is on a roll and I'd like to see him take command of the offensive push and leave the sporadic pass heroics to Dez, Witten et. al. Those receivers can certainly help Murray and viceroy versa.
(waitress, honey, more beer . . . .)

Last week? Really? Didn't we marinate in that long enough to play another game already? Oh I guess we did.

I lament what happened in the first game too. SF didn't play that great. It was a wasted opportunity for sure. But its water under the bridge now. Hopefully it is motivation to play that much harder from here on out.

The premise is also not a new one. Did we really need another one of these threads? Seriously? You didn't even bring up a new or nuanced viewpoint. But hey we did get a hypothetical!

We don't need a lead just to give him carries. Let him contribute establishing the lead, maintain the lead, as well as salting the lead away. When were losing, give him the ball! Yes, he does need to hold onto the rock, but that shouldn't and won't stop him from seeing the ball VIA THE RUN. You wouldn't stop throwing to Dez for drops, wrong routes, etc would you? We're better when he involved early, mid game, and late.

I share you angst. But give gimme a little bit of a "what could half been" daydream. So close. Inside the 5 was it? By the force of odds, 3 times Mr. Murray could half carried the ball. Maybe even on fourth down. My take is that if a team cannot get into the end zone on 3 or four carries, perhaps we do not belong in the end zone anyway.
But i cant hep but think, What if?
Yes, we do get in our own way. But again, what are the odss of us continuing this string of bad luck? Ever dog half his day. We might be due . . . one day. Sigh.

We didn't have the team (O line especially) the past five years for Romo to be a bus driver. He and the offensive skill positions had to carry the load. This year may be different, but it's only been two games.

Didn't you say previously this was his last season? I guess he didn't fall apart on his first sack like you and your buddies were hoping. You're getting sloppy... you know I'm always watching.
