Dallas Cowboys Travel Packages and Player shows/appearances.......see the thread in the advertisement zone for the trip for CowboyJoe, so I don't get in trouble for posting a link to my employer here. (hint: the tent at Texas Stadium bore the same name)

How long you in this racket ? Mid ninties a bunch came to Odessa for the oil show,plus Pete Rose was there,brought in by another out fit. Got four autographs at one table full of Boys and Charlie Waters at another booth .Great day for me and Odessas Cowboys fans. Those guys went home with their arms in slings, but they talked to everyone that asked them questions while they were signing.

I met the QB coach from the Gailey days. He coached a guy I work with in college.

I bet they have seen the cheerleaders up there some where,they go everywhere.
We even had them in town at Odessa back in the old days.No one comes there on purpose except to film the Friday Night Lights .

i think what it was, with bob, to get me to a game in the new stadium, like real good tickets are like $300 apiece. And with bob seeing my war room, and my talking on youtube, everyone was basically pulling for me, being a cowboys fan.

I really like the boys, and try to help them in any way i can, while rooting for them and trying to give you zoners info on cowboys stuff i find.

Along with the stuff i provided on the draft.

Yep, most of them were memorable!

Here's my awesome story. My friend's sister took us to Hardrock Cafe in Dallas where Emmitt and Irvin were making an appearance. I got to meet Michael Irvin and get his autograph. He said "nice pants kid." I looked up and we were both wearing the EXACT SAME pair of Girbauds.

I've only met one, and if you asked me which Cowboysof all time would you like to meet/shake hands with it would have been this one.

Met him at a Christian Athletes luncheon in Casper, Wyoming of all places. He gave a speech, told a couple of funny stories about his time with the Cowboys (one at Bob Lilly's expense) and left the podium to fly out and do two more appearances for the day. Once I realized he was actually leaving, I made a mad dash for the back of the room (where he was headed) and he actually had his assistant hold the elevator for me because he saw me coming. I thanked him for his time and told him "I think this might be the Cowboys year, coach" (this was in 92) he said, "You might be right, young man. God bless you" he signed my hat and stepped into the elevator and he was gone. I was walking on air.

Now, I've never been HEAVILY religious. The only reason I got the tickets to the luncheon was because they were a gift from my (ex) wife's uncle who was a local pastor and he knew when the Cowboys played early because I wasn't at church those weeks. He knew I bled blue and silver and he also knew that no one would appreciate them as much as I would. I've been told "God bless you" literally thousands of times before in my life, but it was never as profound as when I heard it from Tom's lips to my ears. I'll never forget it.
