FA - Sign Blalock as OG
Sign Huff as Safety
#9 Tyron Smith, OT, USC 6-5 #320 - Smith is the future of offensive tackles - Despite his “small” stature, that is actually where Smith gained experience in college. His versatility, though, would allow him to be a “swing” tackle for Dallas–he would start at right tackle, but move to the left side if Free would get hurt
#40 Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA 6 #202 - Good instincts for the position. Reads the quarterback's eyes and has good feet, balance and straight-line speed, aiding him in being in consistently good position in coverage. Reads run quickly and is aggressive in downhill pursuit. Classic ball hawk. Reads the quarterback's eyes and breaks quickly when he reads target location. Good acceleration and straight-line speed. Very good ball skills
#71 Will Rackley, OG, 6-3 #310 - mobility is complemented well by his strength. He has a very thick lower body, and his upper body strength is adequate (29 reps at the Combine). athleticism allows him to play with tremendous leverage
#110 Brandon Burton, CB, Utah 6 #190 - a very good cornerback. He has solid athleticism and shows on film the quickness to defend against just about any size receiver. Brandon is smart and is strong when playing man-to-man defense. He is a solid zone cover corner. He handles the physical aspect of his position very well and is aggressive
#143 Ian Williams, NT, Notre Dame 6-1 #319 - Two-gap nose tackle has the anchor and lower-body strength to hold up against double-team. Aware of the play in the backfield, works his way off his block to chase plays when run to the other side of the line. Flashes nimble feet through trash inside. Swallows backs with his girth when he closes up a gap, and has the strength to knock down smaller backs with an arm tackle. Chase and hustle are impressive, will help linebackers make stops at the second level and takes deep angles to chase down running backs down the sideline.
#176 Greg McElroy, QB, Alabama 6-2 #220 – Greg McElroy knows he’s not as good an athlete as Auburn quarterback Cam Newton - McElroy thinks he’s more ready to play in the NFL than Newton is- gotta love the attitude
a #220Cecil Shorts III, WR/KR Mount Union, 6 #200 - Serious speed, and a serious deep threat. Will catch in traffic and will catch across the middle. Will catch what he should. Good ups. Will fight for first downs
b #252 Bilal Powell, RB, Louisville, 5-11 #207 - Power runner with good thickness in the upper and lower bodies. Runs with good lean to get through arm tackles, or even run over smaller defenders. Looks like a bull, and often runs like one, but can also slide through traffic inside with cuts and fair vision. Fair foot quickness for his size. Nice burst past the line if hole is evident, and strong running makes him difficult to bring down
