Seems that he was the only member until the 22nd, then a whole bunch started flocking in... over 500 in 2 days, over 1000 in 4 days, right at 1250 at the end of the week...

I was a little bored...

So to me, the official start of the board would be the 22nd of April, 2004... which means the board was nearly 11 weeks old before any of you bastidges bothered to tell me about it...

I feel so unwanted... sniff... I mean, I'm probably not even in the first 3000 members...

But on the bright side, I AM 24th in post count... yeah, I checked, now that I know how to sort the Members' list...

So I've been makin' up for lost time... I do plan on makin' a move for the top 20, though...

Or we successfully hid it for 11 weeks

I can't believe how many ppl beat me to the punch, but I don't have computer access at home, so all in all, that was pretty quick for me.:bang2: It was on the second day though!:dance2: I blame Reality for this. That's only between us though, I wouldn't want him to think I'm mad if he found out. That beer drinking Yeigermeister even beat me, then he goes on to make all those posts too, WHAT GIVES?!! I make my .23 posts a day because I know this is a marathon not a sprint. hehe jk Yeiger!

No, that board was run by a guy called Robert Travino I believe. Thumper used to post to that board too among others like me. I started on that board after DMN went down in around 2000 or 2001? Can't remember now. And then moved to precursor to this board, Cowboys.net myself in 2002 I think.

Hos I remember used to post on DMN too. Man I can't believe I have been posting on This board for 7 years now almost. Heck on Web since 97 almost now and how much Boards have gone better?

I am sure people or orginal posters on DMN remember Beavis and hoopla that caused the whole DMN board to go down. Fun times!!!
