What did I DO? Pats fan and I banter back n forth in email

So me and my buddy here at the office were bustin some balls of one of his Patriot fan buddies. We have been sending articles and funny stuff regarding the Pats failing to win the SB thepast day. It's been very good fun and clean jokes back and forth about our clubs.

This guy pounded us when Dallas lost. He laughed and rubbed it in our faces SO bad. My friend and I thought we would just get a little payback. Things esculated a tiny bit and then went WAY off base, and I just wanted to know if I messed up somehow. I don't know how to take his reply.

My friend (like a brother to me) is black and so is his Patriot friend. Me? Im just whitey.

This is what was sent around between the 3 of us. This morning I sent the Pats fan Yomick's article on the Pats trademarking 19-0 and it kinda started from that. Thanks Yomick! :

Looks to me like the only one that was being racist was your friend, based on that excerpt. It probably because he is feeling like ****. I know how I felt when the Cowboys lost the NFC Championship to the 49ers. That loss stayed with me for a whole year. As for what you did wrong: I ain't hatin', just statin'. When you drop a letter for slang, you are supposed to replace it with a --> ' <--.
