IMO I like the current playoff style for CFB. Reduces the penalty for an end of season loss vs a week 1 or 3 loss in terms of rankings.
OSU showed in the playoffs they were they best team in the country.
They had a tough playoff bracket and handled Oregon with ease, great matchup vs Texas and just overwhelmed Notre Dame in the championship.
Maybe it was a mix of getting hot and then capitalizing on the other teams mistakes, but this playoffs was exciting to watch. You had the big guys and the underdogs putting on some good battles.
OSU had no shortage of talent, but they were able to have a chance to redeem themselves after that Michigan loss.
