Last year AdamJT went back through all of our posts and picked out people who "called" things correctly. I thought it would save him some time if everybody simply posted what they were correct on. After all, we should know what we said.

I called the Fasano pick in the second round in "My next to last mock" (I never posted my final mock) and in the "second rounder" threads.

I called the Texans taking Williams and the Cowboys taking Carpenter and the 49ers taking Davis, other than that, my mock pretty much blew.

I was one of the folks that wanted Carpenter over Lawson, but I didn't predict it. I'm not really into predicting.

Other than Carpenter, I called nothing right. In fact, three players I had Dallas drafting in the second day didn't get drafted, period. I am convinced that we wanted Danieal Manning or Darryn Colledge in the second (I had Colledge if we stayed at #48, Manning after a tradedown) but we got beat to the punch. I spent countless hours researching the draft this year yet never considered the possibility of drafting Fasano and had never heard of Hatcher. Nevertheless, I will regroup and fire away next year. :D

I called the Carpenter way back when people still thought he was a 2nd rounder.

I said we'd draft Bobby Carpenter in round 1.

I said we'd draft Fasano in round 2.

I said we draft Skyler Green in round 4 after trading to get a 4th.

I said we'd draft Montavious Stanley in round 6

I said we'd draft Pat McQuistan in round 7.

I said we'd get Kai Parham and Oliver Hoyt as UDFA's.

I said Buffalo would draft an Ohio State DB in round 1.

Okay, fine... I'm full of crap... I didn't guess anything right! :banghead:

Ditto for me, too. Actually, until I discovered this glorious message board, I had never really considered Carpenter. After a month and a half, I was on board with wanting him and was pretty stoked we nabbed him. I think my personal jury will be out on Fasono stronger than any of the other prospects. I called Watkins, sort.......in the third round;)

Me 2 than like a moron I put Lawson on my mock draft. :banghead: Oh well that fit in really well with all the other ones I missed. I really like his ability to fight off blocks and make plays. Cant wait to see our LBs in action this year.

I have found out a couple of things that would have made predicting Carpenter a slam dunk had I known them earlier.

I knew that he was the son of a former Parcells player.

I knew he was a big, strong, fast LB just like Parcells loves.

But those two might not have been enough without the things I did NOT know.

I did not know that Rob Carpenter was a high school football coach now. Parcells loves sons of coaches.

I did not know that Bobby's agent was Sexton (Parcells agent). Parcells always gives extra points for being a Sexton client.

Not that this made me right about anything because I really made no predictions; I just discussed possibilities. These are just some random thoughts :D

I told people awhile back that Parcells was going to skip on an Olineman for a linebacker. I stated that he would skip on both Marcus McNeil and Winston Justice at the 18th pick, and alot of Cowboy fans were going to be unhappy with the lack of quality Olineman taken. To skip on Justice at 18 and McNeil in the 2nd was not shocking to me. Then again, I said Cutler was going to go before Young too.:p:

I called Watkins, but I thought we'd take him in the 4th. On a non-related Cowboys pick, my friends were saying Leinart was going 7th when Oakland was on the clock. I said they were taking Huff and that Leinart was going to Arizona.

I called Justice falling in the draft and ending up in Philly.
I called Sinorice Moss being drafted by NYG.
I called Carpenter becoming a Cowboy.
I called that we would not draft a CB or S on day 1.
I called that we would not draft Manny Lawson.

Also called Leinart falling to Arizona along with going 7 for 7 in the first 7 picks. (After finding out about Williams signing the night before)

I would of had the first 7 too if I hadn't gotten cute and predicted Al Davis would trade ahead of San Fran so they can take Vernon Davis.

I think you might have won without that trade
