I can't find any press release on this change but I know I read it on an article linked on CowboyZone that there would be no first initials. This seems to confirm it for me.

After years of watching Dorsett and Emmitt (yeah, I'm 44 yrs. now)...I knew not to waste my money on #21. I just had a feeling that Julius would have trouble being the feature back of the Dallas Cowboys!!

Not calling you a liar, but I find it hard to believe you had those thoughts after his rookie year, and even during his 2nd season. The guy just flat out shined.

This is the reason I put my last name on my jerseys. I am a Cowboy fan first and a player fan second.

If I do get a jersey with a name other than mine, it will be the name of a retired player.
