A lot of us, myself included, had this team going anywhere from 10-6 to 13-3 (me). When looking at the schedule most of us had these past two games against NO and GB as losses.

When we thought of the losses I don’t think any of us thought we would have lost to the Saints by only 2 points and that was including two very critical fumbles. When we lost today I don’t think anyone expected the blow out, followed by the near comeback and that included 3 INT’s.

I think we can still play with any team and we proved that in the 2nd half of today. It was a wonky game with terrible officiating on both sides and the INT’s were uncharacteristic (we actually put up something like 150-200 more yards offense than GB) and we were only a FG and onsides kick away from the biggest comeback in NFL history. The division will still come down to the wire with us and the Eagles.

What changed so much that is causing the mass panic?

Anyone care to answer this or is it to rational for an hour after a loss?

bet your projections weren't accounting for no Brees and no Adams
Eh...true about that. Wasn’t accounting for no Gallup or Smith either. I know that’s not as big of a deal though.

Tonight was a farce. People are too angry right now and justifiably so. We are seeing a 500 team. Beats weak teams, loses to good ones.
Ridiculous, we’ll easily win 10 at a minimum. I bet the beats weak teams, and we still have some on our schedule but we didn’t get blown out by the Saints and if it weren’t for two fumbles may have won and uncharacteristic Dak INT’s and still almost came back.

Are you saying you predicted 8-8 at the beginning of the season? If yes, then I have nothing more to say. If not, I’d like to hear who exactly you though we would lose to. Most people predicted Pats, Saints, GB as givens.

So you cry when nobody answered your thread then cry when people respond. Got it

So what did you think our record would be before the season and who exactly did you think we would/could lose to?
12-4.
thought we'd probably lose to saints in the dome,ne in foxborough, bears in dec on the road....and 1 div game.

No doubt tonight was a bad performance. But what a lot of fans who are too emotional never realize is the NFL is completely unpredictable. It takes a lot more than 5 games to know what kind of team you have.

This team has talent. It’s still tied for first place. The whole season’s goals are still within reach. When this team was 3-5 last year, I’m sure things were darker than now. I’m disappointed but I’m already looking ahead to next week. Each week is a new chance to grow as a team.

It’s a long season folks. Let’s see what happens for a while longer before declaring this team “finished”.

I looked at the schedule, saw 8 tough games and 8 not so tough. So I guessed 12-4 maybe 11-5. But I included Detroit and Buffalo as poor teams. And at our current pace and inability to stop the run...….Dallas needs to turn it around quick.
