What divisional matchups are you looking forward to

Eagles have a good OL and running game , not to mention Hurts can run ( even though his throwing is suspect ), so unless our DL can stop the run game they will run on us. I think our pass rush will be ok so we can handle Smith and ( often injured)Brown since Hurts has to get the ball to them.

I hate the team on Sunday
I hate the fans always

I don't think a extra hour or 2 on a plane makes a difference.

I'm also interested to see if we've done enough on the defense of line with draft picks like Ridgeway to stop the eagles running game

Eagles and the Commanders, or whatever their name is for this season. Eagles just cuz they're the Eagles and I think they will be a tougher opponent this season. With AJ Brown and the solid draft they had, it'll be a tough 2 games. Commanders cuz their defense gave us problems in their house and they have a legit starter in Wentz. So that'll be tougher. Barring injuries tho I don't see us losing the division.

Every year they claim how they improved their WR position, and every year it seems to be a failure
Every year the Cowboys claim to have improved, and that this is the year, and every year it IS a failure[

Random question, do you hate them in a good way (competitively) or a bad way (they make your football viewing experience less-than?)

Do you think the Cowboys would be better off in a more geographically-accurate divisional alignment? Small road game plane trips to New Orleans, Tampa, and Atlanta… as opposed to cross country jet lag every divisional away game?

I believe the only team that averages more air miles a season than Dallas is KC, and that’s only because of the extreme nature of the Western team locales.
Nope... Tradition.

My hatred is tradition for me too. But it would make a lot of sense rationally for the NFC East and NFC South to swap the Cowboys and Panthers, which would make the new divisions:

NFC South
Cowboys
Buccaneers
Falcons
Saints

NFC East
Commanders
Eagles
Giants
Panthers

This would lower air travel times for 6 of these 8 teams. The Falcons and Buccaneers would see an increase.

I live in Charlotte, I suppose the tradition thing sells because the only REAL arch rival team the Panthers have is Atlanta, as this all used to be Falcons territory. So removing that probably does affect the bottom line a bit

That makes sense. I never considered that, but the two cities are pretty close.

All of them.

I love it when the Cowboys completely dominate them, robbing them of their will, traumatizing them with deep and permanent emotional scars, rendering their football careers worthless and unfulfilled, launching them into a lifetime of expensive therapy in a futile attempt to repair their fractured existence............

.....within the bounds of fair play and good sportsmanship, of course.

Thanksgiving Day... Giants at Cowboys. Should be a good Thanksgiving!

The Eagles have been the bigger challenge for the Cowboys for quite a long time now, although, they tend to struggle on and off. I'll always enjoy any of our matchups with Eastern Division teams, regardless of which one. Wins are easier to come by with them, so why not enjoy that? I'll admit, the Eagles fans are my least favorites, though. Too many of 'em think class is something to leave behind in grade school. They suck!

Dak owns the Egals. He torches them as Mcnabb did to Dallas. In fact, Dak torched the entire NFCE twice last season. :muttley:

I'm looking more towards the non division match ups.
We all know the Cowboys are the tallest midget in the NFC EAST.

It's that time of the year where we are bench racing all the what ifs
I'll start it off with I can't wait to see the cowboys and eagles play and the matchup between Tyler Smith and Jordan Davis has me on the edge of my seat already

What are you guys got
I I hadn’t hought about smith/Davis that’s going to be crazy. I’m taking wagers!

If the league ever changes the NFC EAST I'll stop watching.
