T.O. has a couple suggestions for Jerry

T.O. got off on a tangent about the healing powers of hyperbaric chambers during our conversation the other day. Those chambers also aid the cardiovascular system, according to the Original 81. And he requested that Jerry buy a few for the Cowboys' Valley Ranch facility.

Sounds like a good suggestion to me. I figured T.O. might want to suggest some bells and whistles for JerryWorld, too, so I asked him if he had anything in mind.

"Just sign me long enough so I can play there," T.O. said. "I definitely want to be able to put on a show and score touchdowns in the new stadium

not sure about that, im not a doctor,

but i remember that the running back for the eagles westbrook got one at his home and it helped him heal up while he was hurt

i think it might help the cowboys players that have some big bumps and bruises

Why do they need hyperbaric chambers? That's what needles full of pain killers are for, and they take up less room.

You think an NFL team is going to invest 10 grand per chamber? Good luck with that one, they'd rather spend it on a bonus for a new guy to replace the injured one.

Pain killers can be easily addictive and bad for you. I believe that you're not supposed to take many cortizone shots (it's not a lot either) or it will do major damage to your body. It's one of the reasons why I'm for the legalization of marijuana, a much safer and far less addictive pain killer.

As far as the hyperbaric chambers go, I've heard people say they are nonsense, but have also had people say that they are legit. So who knows? It works for Owens.

10 grand is nothing to Jerry.

I would say "less than nothing" is a more accurate description, but yeah.

i read somewhere (Dallas media or on this board a few months back) that Zack Thomas also has one of those chambers. If Jerry can buy the whole cooling mechanism for the team, he should certainly consider adding one of the chambers. Understand the big chambers are much better then the much smaller personal chambers Westbrooke, TO & Thomas have; the bigger chambers also hold more players but think they cost more in the neighborhood of $50,000-$100,000.

Thats a good point. That cooling system probably costs a little bit and even at 100,000, that isn't even a drop in the bucket when its a 1-time price.

Well Marijuana can help alleviate pain, doesn't a cordizone shot basically numb it, which lets you play on an injury and ultimately do a lot more harm.

Besides Marijuana being illegally, I've never seen the big deal in punishing a player for smoking it. It doesn't offer any competitive advantage.

You know the integrity of the game is not taken that seriously when someone who tokes gets a suspension just as tough as someone who takes steroids, especially considering one of those actually makes a difference in a players perfomance, while the other is purely recreational.

WHOOPS, sorry hostile, didnt know a post had already been done about the chamber, but i thought would be a good ideal to get to jerry jones, may help the cowboys in the longrun, especially ones that have nagging hamstring injuries, knee problems etc, or bruised ribs, just an ideal though,
