What do we do about Celek?

I doubt Celek can beat us by himself...just make the tackles when he catches the rock and we'll be fine. The She-gals have lived off the big play all season and as long as the d isn't giving up any Dallas should be alright.

Hit'em in the mouuuuth!
That reminds me -- did anyone post the Brooking speech from yesterday? They were out there in a huddle for a while; they showed the camera view on the big screen but you couldn't hear any sound.

nothing, if it means d jackson getting 47 yards and no td's. nothing if it means macklin being invisible. nothing if their running game is none existent. celek is not going to beat you by himself.

To answer the thread question - you let him do the same thing. Worked out pretty well in my opinion. 24-0.

And I'll take Celek catching his. Let him have his. Just don't let the receivers beat you deep.

That's all fine and good, but they better not let him have his on third down.

The Eagles have found their version of Jason Witten in Celek.

But... "No points for you!! One year!!"

Nothing. We continue to pressure McNabb, continue to hit him and we make Celek pay for every catch.

One year and hes a version of Witten? Already?

Celek is somewhere between LJ Smith and Witten.

I loved the gameplan, Id just rather it was Jason Williams than Crapenter covering him man for man.

There's a reason Jason Williams has been inactive all year....he isn't ready. And he certainly isn't ready for a playoff game.

You may not like Carpenter, but even he participated in back-to-back shutouts.

Williams has been active for several games this season, but he doesn't do anything besides special teams at this point so it is hard to find a place for him on the active roster.
