What do we do in Round 2?

I'm not planning on the top remaining Wrs to still be remaining when we pick (Desean Jackson, Malcom Kelly, Limas Sweed), so do we reach for one of the lower-rated Wrs because of our need?

or

Do we possibly go RB that has value like Jamaal Charles and Ray Rice, which would fill up our 3rd Rb spot and provide some competition?

or

Do we even possibly look to trade down and pick up a player at the one position that we could really get a starter at, such as FB in Owen Schmitt?

or

Do we even pick up one more CB?

Thoughts...

Probably not RB, IMO.

If there is someone who we really like, I wouldn't mind us moving up and getting someone. Big if though.

If we stay put, I'd love to see Dexter Jackson, who I think can be a steve smith type WR and dynamite in the slot.

I'd guess WR.

Guys like Caldwell, Bennett, maybe Doucet.

I think Hardy, Kelly, and Sweed will be gone.

I guess the surprise pick would be M Bennett at TE . . . . maybe looking to upgrade Fasano?

Depends on who gets taken obviously. Goose just said WR or TE. Could go S also.

I could in no way see us spending a 2nd or 3rd round pick on another RB just so he can sit on the bench. We'll sign a RB as an undrafted free agent IMO.

That's what I think as well.

We brought M Bennett in for a visit as well, if I remember correctly.

I hope for Sweed, but theres still 20 more picks and its unlikely he is still there.
We might look at ILB though.

Not another TE in rnd 2! They pull some crap like that after that Jones pick and it will be a bad day for me.

I'll be hacked off if we draft a TE in the second. I'll be even MORE hacked if we draft another RB. If we're going to draft another position again I'd just as soon it be in the sceondary - another CB or a safety. If PacMan works out we're SET at CB (assuming Jenkins in the nickel). Interesting to me is that we'll have Newman and Jenkins at CB (if PacMan doesn't play this year) and Henry in on the nickel with Roy and Hamlin at S.

If PacMan plays though, who sits? I'm guessing Jenkins?

I'd frankly like to see more depth on the o-line or even another DE or ILB.

But maybe that's just me.
