For me, it's coconut heads and coconuts.

I had this really cool coconut head when I was a kid and still have it. It was kind of scary looking and my older brother would turn the face toward the wall so it wouldn't be staring at him at night.

Now if I go to the beach, I'm always grabbing a coconut to take home as a souvenir or buying one of those coconut heads.

It drives my wife nuts.

During my last move, I had to throw away every one of them but one. Due to a miscommunication on my part and the employer, the mover never showed up and I had one day to put everything I could into a pod. What didn't go in there was thrown out. My wife was so upset. Needless to say, I didn't dare try to put my coconut collection in the pod.

Do things put on a list by one's wife count as collectibles? I got a ton.

Tools. I love tools. I will take a job just to buy a certain tool I don't have. I have toolboxes for everything.

Electrical
Plumbing
Locksmithing
Mechanics
Carpentry
Paint
Drywall
Welding

I am sure I am forgetting something too. Those toolboxes are fine until I get more tools than the toolbox can handle then I need a new toolbox. Over the years I have given away at least a dozen toolboxes simply because I found one bigger and better.

My wife hates to go to Sears, Lowe's and Home Depot with me because I can wander in the tool aisles for hours at a time. There's a place here called Harbor Freight that has tools at ridiculously low prices. I have accidents when they have sales. That is why my wife has taken away my mailbox key, so I can't see the fliers.

I am currently thoroughly convinced I "need" this tool.

Craftsman makes it and it is called the dogbone wrench. As you can see it is a multi-purpose wrench. My wife has asked me if I have wrenches in those sizes. Not only do I, but I have sockets, and crescent wrenches too. She can't understand why I "need" it. Because I don't have one.

Maybe for Father's Day.

Sure. Fire away.

My wife buys handbag after handbag. And I think she has every lotion under the sun.

And why do women (not just my wife from what I have heard) think they are entitled to a new dress for every wedding? I've used the same suit for 14 years now. I've used it for every wedding, funeral, and job interview. I got my money out of thet suit.:)

There is a store here that you would love then. They must have hundreds of different brands.

Posts on CowboysZone.

Yeah posting on Cowboys forums or just forums in general used to really drive her crazy. Nowadays she doesn't care because of the Facebook craze...

Buy one really good dark blue suit and you're set for the rest of your life so long as your body build doesn't change too much. Wear it to your job interview, wedding(s), funeral(s), including your own.

Gadgets.

I love my toys and I usually prefer to go one model above what I need to prevent it from going obsolete as quickly.

She's pretty understanding though, but everytime a box arrives she gives me that look. You know the one.

Cowboys jerseys. I even bought her a Witten jersey. I don't think it's the amount of jerseys I own, but the fact I wear them ALL THE TIME...lol
